From the beginning of his medical studies, Dr. Saurav Anand believed that health is the most important aspect of life. He felt that if anything deserves the highest priority, it is good health. Talking about his early years, Dr. Saurav Anand shares that he was born into a family where his father was an engineer and always emphasized the importance of education. From childhood, education remained a top priority for him, and because of his interest in healthcare, he chose the medical field. Laparopic Surgeon Dr. Saurav Anand completed his primary education in Delhi. He then pursued his MBBS from Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Ranchi. After that, he completed his MS (Master of Surgery) and surgical training in Patiala, Punjab.

He worked there for four years before joining Safdarjung Hospital and Vardhman Mahavir Medical College (VMMC), New Delhi, where he gained experience as a Senior Resident. During his senior residency, robotic surgery was rapidly advancing in India, which inspired him to pursue a Fellowship in Robotic Surgery at Apollo Hospital, New Delhi.

He also completed a fellowship through the European Research Institute on Simulation (ERIS), an institution affiliated with the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
