Dr. Saurabh Goel has been successfully running his dental clinic for the past 10 years, treating a variety of oral diseases. The most common issues he encounters include dental caries (tooth decay) and gum disease, also known as "mouth pyorrhea," which often leads to bleeding gums. He believes that the rise in gutka consumption in Rajasthan is a major contributing factor to these oral health problems. Symptoms such as mouth irritation, bad breath, and in severe cases, oral cancer, are commonly associated with this habit. Dr. Goel stresses the importance of awareness and preventive care to help combat these harmful problems.

Talking about his role, he said that he is dedicated to guiding and educating budding dentists. Dr. Saurabh Goyal explains that the inspiration to enter the field of Oral Medicine came to him after completing his schooling. He observed many oral health problems affecting people's lives and the lack of awareness about these issues. Driven by the desire to bring about a change, he chose Dentistry as his profession to provide better treatment and raise awareness.

Reflecting on his professional career, Dentist Saurabh Goyal highlights the major milestones and achievements that have defined his career. After earning a degree, he took a bold step by opening his own clinic in Rajasthan, despite the challenges and uncertainties. Hailing from Karnal and having graduated from Karnataka, without any family background in the field, the decision was unconventional. However, looking back, he believes it was one of the best choices he made, leading to the success and growth of his clinic.

In his initial days after his post-graduation, Dr. Goyal faced many hurdles, but he was determined to make his clinic a success. He received invaluable support from his wife, his mother-in-law, and his father-in-law, which helped him overcome the challenges of setting up the clinic. Over the past 10 years, Dr. Goyal has successfully managed the clinic, and now feels proud of the smooth operations and the positive impact he has made in society.

Oral radiology Expert Dr. Saurabh Goel did his schooling in Karnal, Haryana, his native place. After finishing his schooling, he pursued his graduation in Dentistry from Karnataka. He then joined Rajasthan University for his Master Degree in Oral Medicine and Radiology. After completing his studies, Dr. Saurabh chose Udaipur as the location to establish his clinic. He further enhanced his expertise by completing a Ph.D. in Oral Cancer and subsequently opened his own clinic.

When asked about his role models, Dr. Saurabh emphasizes that his mother has always been his biggest inspiration. From childhood, he witnessed her hard work and dedication to her responsibilities. It was through observing her that he learned the invaluable lesson: there is no substitute for hard work in life.

Dr. Saurabh Goel shares a quote that has deeply inspired him:

"ख़ुदी को कर बुलंद इतना कि हर तक़दीर से पहले ख़ुदा बंदे से ख़ुद पूछे, बता तेरी रज़ा क्या है।"

This quote encourages one to build such strength and self-belief that, no matter what life throws at you, you can overcome it. If someone tries to drag you down, they won’t be able to succeed because you will be too strong to be swayed.

Oral Cancer Specialist Dr. Saurabh also has an important message for aspiring students who want to pursue dentistry. He advises them to focus on clearing the NEET exam after their 12th grade. He explains that while there are many dentists in the field, there are fewer who are truly experts in terms of quality. He encourages students to distinguish themselves by offering something unique, providing the best care, and constantly striving for excellence. With the right approach, they can run a dental practice that stands out and excels in the industry.

Dr. Saurabh Goel shares an important message with the youth of India:

“छोटी सी है ज़िंदगी, हंसकर जियो,   लौट कर यादें आती हैं, वक़्त नहीं।”

This means, “Life is short, live happily, because memories will return, but time will not”. He encourages the youth to live life with joy, make the most of every moment, and focus on what truly matters.

Regarding his own time management, Dr. Saurabh explains how he balances his professional responsibilities. At Pacific Dental College and Research Center, he manages his work from 9 AM to 3 PM in the departments of Oral Medicine and Radiology. From 3 PM to 8 PM, he focuses on his own clinic, ensuring both roles run smoothly.

Dentist Saurabh Goel recommends regular dental check-ups every 6 to 8 months. He also advises patients to follow the treatment plan recommended by their dentist and trust their guidance for optimal oral health.
