Serving as the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) Head for the Jawaharlal Institute of Technology (JIT) and the GRY Institute of Pharmacy, Dr. Sanjay Chauhan is focused on elevating educational standards in the Nimar region. With 55 research publications, 5 patents, 3 books, and the successful organization of 35 national and international conferences, he continues to contribute significantly toward academic excellence.

Dr. Sanjay Chouhan is a dedicated academician serving as the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) Head at both the Jawaharlal Institute of Technology (JIT) and the GRY Institute of Pharmacy in Borawan.

With a deep commitment to elevating educational standards in the Nimar region, Dr. Chouhan ensures that every student receives a top-tier, quality education. In his role as the IQAC Coordinator for GRY Institute of Pharmacy and JIT Borawan, his primary focus revolves around fostering participative learning, encouraging problem-solving methodologies, and instilling strong moral values and ethics in his students.

At the core of his administrative work is a robust, dynamic feedback system. By actively gathering input from all key stakeholders, including students, employers, alumni, and faculty members, he helps design and update the academic syllabus to meet modern industry demands.

Recognizing that every student learns at a different pace, IQAC head Dr. Sanjay Chouhan has implemented a highly targeted educational approach. Slow learners are fully supported with extra and additional classes to help them build their confidence and catch up. Conversely, advanced learners are provided with specialized opportunities to develop higher-level capabilities, specifically focusing on leadership skills, research methodologies, and academic publication.

The foundation of his own academic career began in Thikri, a small town where he completed his early schooling. He then pursued his Bachelor of Engineering degree from the JIT Borawan. Building on that strong technical foundation, he earned his Master's degree from the prestigious Shri Govindram Seksaria Institute of Technology and Science (SGSITS) in Indore before completing his PhD from MATS University. Teaching was always his core passion, and it was this inherent, deep-seated interest that naturally drew him toward a lifelong career in academia.

When it comes to inspiration, Dr. Chouhan considers the late Shri Subhash Yadav, the visionary founder of Jawaharlal Institute of Technology, (Borawan), Khargone, as his ultimate role model. He deeply admires the late chairman's enduring vision of providing quality education to the masses while continually serving society. On a personal level, Dr. Chouhan lives by a simple but profound philosophy. While many people spend their time dwelling on the past or plotting out the future, he believes firmly in living and thinking entirely in the present. He draws significant motivation from the song -

आनेवाला पल जानेवाला है,

हो सके तो इसमें ज़िंदगी बिता दो, पल जो ये जानेवाला है |

This song reminds him to stay focused on his current path.

When reflecting on the difficulties he has faced, he says that because of the immense sacrifices his parents made, he feels he was shielded from severe life struggles.

Over the years, Dr. Sanjay Chouhan has built an impressive portfolio of academic and professional milestones. He has authored 55 publications in reputed peer-reviewed journals, published three books, and successfully secured five patents. Furthermore, he has organized 35 national and international conferences, actively securing the necessary funding from various external sources to bring those events to life.

He holds a steadfast belief that winning or losing is never the true measure of a person's talent, a core message he consistently shares with his students to alleviate pressure.

Dr. Chouhan is immensely proud of the institutions he represents, noting that JIT and GRYIP stand as the premier educational destinations in the Nimar area. Functioning as autonomous institutions affiliated with RGPV (Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya), they currently boast a placement rate of over 50 percent.

Students at these institutes do not just work toward a graduation degree; they actively participate in numerous outreach activities and compete confidently on a global scale.
