Dr. Sandeep Agarwal is an Endocrinologist who runs his clinic, Aaryaa Endocrine, Diabetes & Hematology Centre, located in Science City, Ahmedabad.
Dr. Sandeep studied at RIMS, Ranchi and Madurai Medical College. After completing his education, he worked at several prestigious institutions in India, including PGIMER Chandigarh, CMC Vellore, and JIPMER Pondicherry. Working at these institutions, he gained extensive knowledge and expertise in the field of endocrinology.

Born in Rohtak, Haryana, Dr. Sandeep comes from a humble family. His father worked as a sub-broker in the stock market, and they struggled to pay his school fees. When he was In the 9th grade, he aspired to become a doctor despite financial hardships and discouragement due to competition and costs. He passed the entrance exam in 1996, secured a good rank, and got admission to Madurai Medical College. He later completed his MD, DM, and fellowship, working at PGIMER Chandigarh and CMC Vellore. He believes that determination can help overcome any obstacle.
Dr. Agarwal sees destiny as crucial in shaping our paths and advises everyone to be hardworking, dedicated, and honest. He considers himself a role model for making tough decisions that led to his success. He is inspired by the quote, "Just do it."
He shares that before joining PGI Chandigarh, he earned three to four lakh rupees monthly but chose to join PGI because it made him happy. He suggests that life is short and we should pursue what we enjoy rather than what the world wants us to, and advises against chasing monetary gains.
Regarding the medical field, Dr. Agarwal emphasizes the importance of self-study and learning from various people and places. He remembers that during his MBBS days, he would visit his college in the evenings to consult patients, which paid off when he became an expert diagnostician during his MD. He recalls treating a pregnant woman during his DM studies and stresses the importance of continual learning despite challenges.
Dr. Agarwal highlights the significance of hormones in maintaining bodily balance, including the pituitary, thyroid, adrenal, and parathyroid glands. He shares the story of a girl who could not move due to a deficiency in calcium and vitamin D. With his treatment, she became completely healthy in two months. He also treated a 50-year-old woman with hypertension caused by an adrenal tumor; after its removal, she was free from hypertension and medications.
