Dr. Ritu Khanna, a mathematics professor at Pacific University in Udaipur, Rajasthan, has significantly advanced in the field of applied mathematics over the past 12 years. Born and raised in Uttar Pradesh, she received her bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Allahabad.

For the past 12 years, Dr. Ritu Khanna has been working as a mathematics professor at Pacific University in Udaipur, Rajasthan. Through her research and publications, she has significantly advanced the area of mathematics during her tenure. With a focus on applied mathematics, Dr. Khanna has actively mentored students and assisted them with their research projects.

Describing her childhood, Ritu says she was born and raised in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. She received her bachelor's and master's degrees in mathematics from the University of Allahabad. Upon getting married, she moved to Udaipur with her husband. Following her marriage, she aspired to pursue her passion for teaching and began working as a mathematics teacher.

Meanwhile, she also obtained B.Ed., M.Ed., and PhD degrees in education. She started working at Pacific University as an assistant professor of mathematics and later became the head of the mathematics department. She actively participated in various research projects and published several papers in reputed journals. Her dedication and expertise in the field earned her recognition, and she was invited to deliver lectures at national and international conferences. She continues to inspire and mentor young minds, encouraging them to explore the wonders of mathematics.

Sharing her experience during the COVID pandemic phase, Ritu, a mother of two, experienced family time during the lockdown with her elder son studying engineering at SRM University. She also received guidance from her younger son. Ritu learned new cooking techniques and enjoyed spending time with her family. Despite the challenges, she expresses sympathy for the families affected by the pandemic and wishes them well in the future.

Whether education or experience is more crucial, Ritu says that both education and experience should be balanced in life. In her opinion, education helps in every aspect of life, and it is important to apply that education in the real world. She believes that a strong educational foundation provides the necessary knowledge and skills, while practical experience allows individuals to adapt and solve problems in different situations. Ritu emphasizes the importance of continuously learning and gaining hands-on experience to stay relevant and succeed in today's rapidly changing world.

When asked about her role models, Ritu says that she considers her father to be her role model. He accurately guides her and always has answers for any of her issues. He has always been Ritu's rock and continues to be her first choice when things get tough.

Her success mantra in life is to follow the path of truthfulness and never be a manipulative person. Ritu believes that being honest and genuine in all aspects of life is the key to achieving success. She firmly believes that one's actions should align with their values and principles, as this not only helps in personal growth but also builds trust and credibility with others. Ritu strives to be a person of integrity, knowing that it will ultimately lead her to thrive in today's rapidly changing world.

Ritu wishes she had a time machine to revisit the carefree and responsibility-free days of her childhood spent with her brother and sister.

Ritu advises youth to maintain sincerity in life, avoid being lazy due to increasing competition, and focus on honesty and dedication in all work rather than half-hearted efforts. She believes that these values will not only help them succeed in their personal and professional lives but also contribute to the betterment of society as a whole.
