Dr. Ravindra Dave works as a Residential Medical Officer (RMO) at a hospital in Mumbai. He's been in this role for the past year and a half.
Dr. Ravindra grew up in Surat and then moved to Karnataka for his bachelor's degree in the medical field. He completed his BAMS from Shri C. B. Guttal Ayurvedic Medical College in Karnataka.
Recalling his childhood memories, he remembers them fondly. He spent his early years in his village, enjoying time with family and friends.
When asked how he came into medicine, Dr. Ravindra explains that while many people have clear goals from a young age, he didn't. Initially, he wasn't keen on studying and was more interested in inventing something unique to make money.
His father, on a friend's advice, enrolled him in medical college. Dr. Ravindra admits he didn't take his studies seriously at first and even failed some exams. But he learned from his mistakes, buckled up to study hard, and eventually graduated. He started working while still in college and has continued since then.
Dr. Ravindra acknowledges that everyone makes mistakes, but he regrets not focusing enough on his studies when he had the chance. He's determined to achieve financial success.
In his spare time, Dr. Ravindra enjoys going for drives and being in nature. He's also a cricket fan, both in playing and watching the sport.
When it comes to role models, Dr. Ravindra looks up to Swami Vivekanand, especially inspired by his quote, "Utho, jago aur tab tak mat ruko jab tak lakshya ki prapti na ho jaye" (Arise, awake, and don't stop until the goal is achieved). He also finds inspiration in the teachings of the Srimad Bhagavad Gita.
For aspiring medical students, Dr. Ravindra advises starting to prepare for the entrance exams early, even during school, and working hard to get into a good college.
