Dr. Ravi Sharma is a practicing Maxillofacial and Dental Surgeon based in Jaipur. He has been working in this field for the past eight years.
Ravi hails from Udaipur. He did his schooling from Maharana Mewar Public School. He says that he was an average student throughout, so it was difficult for him to initially clear the medical entrance exams. Meanwhile, he cleared his Rajasthan Engineering Entrance Test. This ended his stress and so he could clear his medical exam as well. Then he did his BDS from Ganganagar and MDS in Oral Surgery from Chennai. He also holds a degree in Hair Transplant and Cosmetic Surgery from Delhi.
Soon after acquiring certain specializations, Ravi started his clinic. Gradually, patients started to come in and his clinic started to grow with word of mouth publicity. In no time, his work increased many folds, and he was honored with several awards, certificates, and titles.
Recalling fond memories of his childhood, Ravi says he misses those fun-filled days he used to spend with his friends by visiting places popular among the youth of Udaipur.
When asked about his role models, Ravi says all the people who are doing good work and climbing the ladder of success are role models for him. He considers his parents, staff, teachers and professors as his role models for learning several things from them.

He also won the ‘Best Dental Academy’ award. Besides, he was the silver medalist of his college and the topper during his fellowship program.
Sharing his COVID experience, Ravi says his clinic was closed for a few days in the initial days of the lockdown. On the positive side, he was able to spend quality time with his family after a long time. However, at the request of his patients, he opened his clinic and provided his services even in the lockdown. He says that the second wave was more dangerous and it crippled the entire health care system.

If anyone wants to enter the field of Dentistry, Ravi advises them that with your hard work, dedication and determination, you can go a long way in this field. He adds not to take this profession for granted at any point of time or else your tenure in this field shall soon be on the verge of saturation. Also, he suggests they should enter this field keeping in mind that they would barely get time for their personal life.
