Despite being the son of a farmer, Dr. Raju became an Assistant Professor, which is a biggest achievement for him. He works for the benefit of society to be benefitted in return.

Dr. Raju Singh is an Assistant Professor in the Sociology department at M.L.S.U. Currently, four PhD scholars are pursuing PhD under him in sociology. He did his B.A. from B.N. College and for M.A. and PhD, he went to M.L.S.U. He was appointed as an Assistant Professor in 2012 and has been teaching sociology ever since.

Dr. Raju’s first goal of life was to become an Assistant Professor and to achieve that goal, he took his inspiration from his Guru, Professor Mohan Advani, who inspired him for continuous research and studies. As a result, he cleared NET twice, passed PhD and was selected as AP in M.L.S.U. In his school time, his mentor was his English teacher, Sohan Kumawat, who used to tell him that he could become something in life and his statement led him to strive harder.

Dr. Raju’s main subjects have always been Development, Displacement and the Rehabilitation policy. Because he says that development and displacement goes hand in hand and is a continuous process. He thinks most of the problems come to those who are displaced so his scholars study and research about their problems and scrutinise the rehabilitation policy that has been made so that they can get maximum compensation and move forward in their life.

According to Dr. Raju, the basic mantra of success is correctly selecting two things in life - life partner and mentor. If you have selected the right mentor, they will help you cross your fleet and in any circumstances he will pave the way for you. And if you have chosen the correct life partner, your life would have a smooth ride.

Dr. Raju hails from Kumbhalgarh village and he is the son of a farmer. He says his parents always supported him to do something great in life. So, he kept moving ahead towards his goal by making good use of his time and finally he achieved his goal.

Talking about leadership, Dr. Raju thinks one is innate and one comes from the inspiration of others. So he always followed his parents’ statement ‘always have the right company in life’ because the winning personality is made by the company you have. Also, the concept of rational thinking is helpful in deciding whether something is right or wrong.

Dr. Raju advises everyone that you should help each other when you reach a high position in life. Because getting power is very easy but using that power well is very difficult. He says we should set such an ideal in the society that we should love each other, live with harmony and help everyone around. You should do good to the society to get benefits from it.
