Dr. Raghvendra Dubey is a distinguished Academician, Researcher, Mentor, and Educational Leader who currently serves as the Head of the Department of the Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, SAGE University, Indore.

With more than twenty-one years of experience in higher education, research, student mentorship, and academic administration, he has established himself as a respected figure in pharmaceutical education. Throughout his career, he has remained committed to the belief that education should not merely provide degrees but should empower individuals with knowledge, skills, values, innovation, and the ability to contribute meaningfully to society.

Since 2022, Dr. Dubey has been leading the Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences at SAGE University, where he oversees the department's academic, research, and developmental activities. The institute currently offers Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm), Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm), Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm) in Pharmaceutics, and Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm) in Pharmacology. The undergraduate and diploma programs were introduced in 2018, while the postgraduate programs were launched in 2022, further strengthening the institute's academic and research ecosystem.

Dr. Raghvendra Dubey was born in Dhar near Mandav (or Mandu), located in the culturally rich Malwa region of Madhya Pradesh. His upbringing was deeply influenced by the values of discipline, education, and hard work. His father worked at the Bank Note Press, which led the family to settle in Dewas, where Dr. Dubey completed his schooling.

From a very young age, he displayed a strong interest in academics and learning. He was naturally inclined toward studies and always sought to deepen his understanding of various subjects. This passion for education eventually guided him toward the field of Pharmaceutical Sciences.

After completing his schooling, he pursued his technical education in Bhopal, where he further strengthened his academic foundation. His dedication and academic excellence enabled him to successfully clear the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE), a significant achievement that opened new opportunities for advanced education and research. Following this accomplishment, he pursued his postgraduate studies in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya (RGPV). His growing interest in research and scientific exploration inspired him to continue his academic path, leading him to pursue doctoral studies.

In 2012, he successfully earned his Ph.D. from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Anantapur. By this stage, he had developed a deep understanding of pharmaceutical sciences, research methodologies, and academic leadership. More importantly, he had realized that education is one of the most impactful professions through which knowledge, values, and opportunities can be passed on to future generations.

Even after receiving numerous opportunities throughout his career, he chose to remain connected to the education sector because he believes that teaching and mentoring students is one of the most meaningful responsibilities an individual can undertake. Throughout his academic career, Dr. Dubey has consistently emphasized that education must be holistic in nature. While technical knowledge is essential, he believes that students must also develop critical thinking abilities, ethical values, leadership qualities, communication skills, and social awareness.
