Dr. Priyanka Jaiswal is a nutritionist and co-founder of Diet 2 Nourish.
Priyanka did her schooling till 10th from a private school, Saraswati Bal Vidya Mandir, and 11th and 12th from Government Senior Secondary School. After that, she did her bachelors from Delhi University and masters from Manav Rachna International University.
Priyanka says that she has vast experience of working and training at institutions like Fortis, Obino, HealthifyMe, MAX Healthcare, and Apollo Hospitals. After gaining an experience of ten years, she decided to start her own venture and has been running it for the past two years.
Talking about challenges in life, Priyanka says that after college, her interest in studies declined and it was troublesome because she knew that the learning process is never-ending in this field.
Talking about the COVID-19 pandemic, Priyanka says that she had just started with her clinic when COVID hit. They shifted online but gaining the trust of people through online mode was tough. She feels that the positive aspect was getting time to spend with her family.
Sharing her achievements, Priyanka says that starting her own clinic is one. She has won many awards as well and feels that the biggest reward in her field is positive feedback from her clients.
When asked about her role models, Priyanka says that role models and inspirations change with time. Initially, her parents and brothers were her role models. In her graduation phase, one of her teachers who was very well versed and soft-spoken inspired Priyanka with her communication skills. Priyanka also considers writer Kumud Khanna as one of her role models as she has learned a lot from her books.
Priyanka advises the aspirants of the nutrition field to keep their basic theoretical knowledge of graduation and postgraduation strong. She also advises them to take proper internships and learn the art of treatment and communication properly.
Her success mantra in life is to never give up and always keep looking for solutions in life.
In her free time, Priyanka likes listening to Indian classical music and reading books.
