Dr. Pradeep Kumar Yadav is a Karate Coach. He holds a third-degree black belt from the World Karate Federation, Spain. He claims that till now he has trained fifty-thousand children, without charging a penny.
Pradeep did his schooling from Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1 Delhi Cantt. He graduated from Alwar.
Recalling his childhood, Pradeep says that he used to stay at a hostel during his school days. While choosing a sport in school, he decided on karate and soon his interest grew in it. He says, he did not give up karate even during his college days and went on to make his career in the same.
When asked about his role models, Pradeep says he considers his mentors, gurus, and his father as his role models for always supporting him and encouraging him to move ahead on his path to becoming a karate coach. He is a big follower of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and draws inspiration from him.
Describing his struggles, Pradeep says that finding a good mentor, a good karate institute, and arranging a uniform at the same time to learn this sport was quite challenging for him at that time.
Regarding his achievements, Pradeep says that training his students gives him the most pleasure and satisfaction, which he considers his achievement. He joyously says that he has been awarded forty different awards in the field of Karate, which is an achievement for him. Besides, he has five world records in his name, including the America Records Book, the World Book of Records London, the International Book of Records, the Asia Book of Records, and the India Book of Records, which gives him pride.
Sharing his COVID experience, Pradeep says the pandemic made everyone understand the value of their families and consider them as their biggest asset. He also believes that because of the pandemic, the dream of ‘Digital India’ came true as the online platforms gave a big boost to almost all businesses to spread worldwide. Owing to this, the economic condition of the people also improved.
According to Pradeep, both education and experience are important but he believes that skill comes from experience and experience can take you to a good position in life.
When free, Pradeep likes to do yoga, stretching exercises, and taking training from his guru.
If Pradeep could go back in time through a time machine, he would try to do everything in his capacity for the country through karate.
Advising the youth, Pradeep asks them to divert their attention from mobile phones and spend time with their elders and talk to them about their future endeavors. He suggests they should go ahead in sports and be a part of the ‘Fit India Movement’ and ‘Atma-Nirbhar Bharat’ to make these campaigns a huge success.
