Before his retirement, Professor Dr. P.K Jain worked with full commitment and dedication and tried to imbibe in his students the same traits.

Dr. P. K. Jain did M.Com and PhD and then pursued his career in the academic field. He had worked for forty years in this field where he started with Rajasthan University as a Lecturer. Thereafter, he worked in several other universities at different posts. He says he has enjoyed his journey so much and feels satisfied with his profession for receiving lots of love and affection from this field, the corporate sector, NGO’s, his clients and audience.

Dr. P. K. Jain believes that be it any situation, if you give your hundred percent commitment then you will get everything you are striving for. He feels proud that many big corporate organisations are his clients and that is only because of his commitment towards his work.

As far as success is concerned, Dr. P. K. Jain says that it varies from person to person and the thing that satisfies you the most is the biggest success for you.

Dr. Jain says that two things are very important in life. First to foster your passion because, without passion your life would not be smooth and second, to have a role model in life. Talking about his role models, he has three. First is Osho because he has met him in person and found him to be a genius as he wrote four hundred books that were well ahead of time. The other one is the great poet Neeraj because he established his name in every field he went to. The third one is Bill Gates because of his reading skills.

Dr. Jain thinks that because of his shy and polite nature he was left behind at many things in life which he considers to be his mistake. Also, his other mistake he thinks was that he opted for the commerce stream because of more earning options and job opportunities but since childhood, he wished to go into the literature field.

About Covid, Dr. Jain says that it changed the situation of the education industry overnight. Nobody had thought of teaching the students via online mediums, which was a challenge for him too but he accepted it as a substitute and managed to cope with it.

Apart from work, Dr. Jain enjoys following his passion of reading books.

Dr. Jain says that people love him wholeheartedly, appreciate him and bless him. So he feels that it is a very great reward and big achievement for him. Also, he has a YouTube Channel in the name of ‘Professor PK Jain’. He is a member of many associations and professional bodies like IIPA and others which he feels are a valuable addition to him and by which he realises his shortcomings and gets a chance to improve himself.

Dr. Jain requests the young generation to always keep on thinking, craving and looking for something new because the better you read, the better you observe you’ll think better. That will be a real value addition in your life. He adds that whatever you see in the world, instead of looking at it from a biased angle, give it a neutral angle to move ahead in life.

Dr. Jain opines that education is important to enable you to open the window to let you see the sky. Experience follows your education and it depends on what kind of experience you want to acquire.
