Coming from a background where girls weren’t given proper opportunities, Dr. Nisha has courageously become a doctor and has been fulfilling her duties with utmost dedication.

Dr. Nisha is working as a Gynecologist in the GBH American Hospital for one year.

Nisha was born and brought up in Chittorgarh, Rajasthan. Growing up, she was a quiet kid and used to hang around with her books most of the time. She did her schooling from Chittorsgarh itself. Thereafter, she did BHMS followed by a Diploma in Gynaecology.

Nisha’s job at the hospital is to assist senior doctors in handling patients and help patients coordinate with the doctors efficiently.

The COVID period proved to be a trying time for Dr. Nisha, as she is also a mother of a young child. She had to work for long shifts for days on end and sometimes was not able to see her child for many days. Nevertheless, she did her job professionally and competently.

To the aspiring doctors, Nisha says that they should give their utmost priority to their aim to succeed in this field. She also advises them to keep their personal and professional lives separate.

Nisha considers her father to be her role model. He was the one who wanted her to become a doctor and has also supported her at every stage of life.

If Nisha could go back in time, she would like to relive her student life when she was preparing for PMT. She says that she would study even harder to attain a better rank in the exam.

Apart from work, NIsha likes to spend time on social media and dance.
