Neha is a physiotherapist running her own clinic and treating patients with dedication. After doing her masters and after working in different hospitals, she decided to start her own practice.

Dr. Neha Shukla is a practicing consulting physiotherapist running her own clinic by the name Dr. Neha’s Physiotherapy Clinic for the past five years.

Sharing about her childhood, Neha says that she was born and brought up in a middle-class family in Prayagraj. She says that both her parents struggled hard to give a perfect life to her and her brother.

She did her schooling from St. Mary’s Convent School. After that, she did her Bachelor’s in Physiotherapy from Delhi and then pursued an MPT in Orthopedics. Neha did her internship from Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital and considers it one of the best learning experiences in her life.

Talking about her role models, Neha says that her mother, who is a lawyer in the Allahabad High Court, is the one for her. Her dedication to work and the balance she strikes between her personal and professional life is what inspires Neha a lot.

When asked about her success mantra, Neha says that it is to work hard and never take shortcuts in life. Professionally, she feels that a doctor should follow stringent work ethics and be true to their patients.

“Dreams are not what you see in your sleep, dreams are those that don't let you sleep.", a quote from Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam is Neha’s favorite go-to quote in life.

Neha feels that mistakes are learning experiences in life and hence we should not consider them as negative experiences but as learning experiences.

Talking about her struggles, Neha says that during the first year of her graduation she used to travel a long way to just observe the working of an orthopedic and learn the basics of the field.

Neha feels that the future of India is bright and the youth of our country is super talented and enthusiastic. She advises them to stay away from distractions in life and focus on their goals.

When asked about a piece of advice for women, Neha says that women should not underestimate themselves and try to be independent in life.

In her free time, Neha likes to spend time with her husband and daughter. She also likes to go on long drives and travel.
