Dr. Mukesh Shrimali is a Physics teacher at the University level as well as at the school level. He also has some research scholars under him.
Mukesh did his M.Sc. in Physics. He has also done M.Tech., Ph.D., and an M.Ed. too in the subject. He has a whopping 30 years of experience and has taught students from over 20–25 different countries. He has good command over Quantum Physics and the Theory of Relativity.
Hailing from Udaipur, Rajasthan, Mukesh did his schooling at Guru Gobind Singh Senior Secondary School and his graduation and postgraduate studies from the Mohanlal Sukhadia University in Udaipur.
Mukesh’s teaching journey started while he was pursuing his M.Sc. After winding up at his college every day, he used to teach at the Alok School. When he finished his postgraduate studies, he was given the opportunity to teach the students of the 11th and 12th grades at the Central Academy School, Udaipur. Under his guidance, a student was able to get the 3rd Rank in the AIIMS entrance exam and another student got the 8th rank in IIT JEE. In that batch, altogether, nine students were selected for the IITs and seven students got into medical colleges.
Mukesh continued pursuing higher studies, where he used to devote time to his studies in the evenings and teach students in the mornings.
Talking about his struggles, Mukesh says that he belonged to a lower-middle-class family where his father used to do electrical fitting work. Mukesh studied at the Roshanlal school up to the 8th grade, and in Alok Senior Secondary School from the 9th grade. His faculty helped him a lot to cope with the English language, as initially, he had studied the Hindi medium. That school helped him with 360-degree development and gave him a major boost in developing himself holistically.
Another struggle Mukesh faced was that he came from the first ever batch of the newly introduced 10 + 2 system. Due to the unavailability of books and also due to the agitation against reservations, there was a major disruption, and their 12th board result suffered too. Later, when he was given the opportunity to teach the students of Central Academy while he was pursuing his post-graduation, as Mukesh was from the Hindi medium, he faced grave challenges in doing the same.
Talking about his role models, Mukesh says he looks up to his parents as one. During the initially struggling times in their family, both of them were very determined to educate their sons well enough. Mukesh considers Dr. Sangam Mishra, Director of Central Academy to be his professional role model. He credits Dr. Mishra for giving him the opportunity to excel in his career and for helping him to date.
Advising young aspirants to this field, Mukesh insists that they must be academically qualified to enter this field. Along with that, their experience, professional qualifications, and hard work are important determinants of success in this field.
If given a chance to go back in time in a time machine, Mukesh would like to go back to the time when he was in his 11th standard. During those years, he was politically influenced and spent his time in political gatherings. So, if given a chance to go back in time, Mukesh would like to stay away from all those things and rather invest his time in studying.
According to Mukesh, nowadays, the youth are looking for quick success. He adds that the youth must keep working hard in silence and let success make the noise. One must concentrate on their work and strive to work hard, and success will fall into place automatically.
When asked about his views on success, Mukesh says that the blessings of the elderly and being consistent in your field will get you success. He says that one must never be hesitant to ask for advice from successful people.
