With 15 years of experience in the field of homoeopathy, Dr. Megha Jain has been actively contributing to the well-being of her patients. She has received the ‘Icon of Asia’ award and the ‘Women Leader Forum’ Award in Dubai. She was also awarded the title of ‘Beauty with Brains’ in the ‘Marvellous Mrs. India’ pageant.

Dr. Megha Jain is a Homoeopathic Doctor based in Udaipur, where she runs her clinic, Dr. Megha's Full Life Homoeocare.

With a specialisation in autoimmune diseases such as Psoriasis, Eczema, and Rheumatoid Arthritis, she also effectively treats various allergic skin conditions. Additionally, she provides relief for ailments like common cold, coughs, sinusitis, and rhinitis, as well as female-specific issues like leukorrhea and menstrual disorders. Her clinic offers a range of therapies, including acupressure and acupuncture, administered by specialised doctors. With 15 years of experience, she is committed to providing holistic and effective treatments to her patients.

Dr. Megha acknowledges that homoeopathy is often not the first choice of medicine for many people. However, driven by a desire to elevate its status, she entered the field with the aim of making it a primary choice for healthcare. Over her 15-year career, she has actively contributed to the field and is pleased to see a growing acceptance of homoeopathic treatment in society due to its perceived lack of side effects.

Growing up in an environment favouring allopathic medicine, she initially did not prioritise homoeopathy. However, influenced by her father's open-minded approach towards various medical disciplines, she decided to explore homoeopathy further after clearing the pre-medical entrance exam. Delving into the field, she found herself drawn to its philosophy, which emphasises a close alignment with nature and personalised treatment approaches. She appreciates how homoeopathy allows her to understand patients on a deeper level, matching their unique characteristics with suitable remedies. She feels privileged to have pursued a career that resonates with her values and beliefs.

Hailing from Neemuch, Madhya Pradesh, Dr. Megha completed her schooling at Carmel Convent Sr. Sec. School in her hometown. Subsequently, she relocated to Udaipur, where her maternal family resides, and has been a resident of the city for the past 23 years. Her father established the Sewa Charitable Hospital, where he has practised for 24 years, and both she and her brother now assist him in running the hospital.

She pursued her undergraduate education at Rajasthan Vidyapeeth Homoeopathic Medical College and later completed her postgraduate studies in Malaysia.

When asked about her role models, Dr. Megha Jain says she draws inspiration from the famous cine star Priyanka Chopra, admiring her journey of breaking barriers and achieving global recognition. She particularly resonates with Priyanka's mantra of resilience: "Fall, fall, fall, but rise like a phoenix again."

Reflecting on her challenges in homoeopathic practice, she laments the misconception that people have that homoeopathy is ineffective in acute conditions like diarrhoea, fever, or headache, leading patients to seek homoeopathic treatment only after their conditions become chronic and more complicated. She stresses that homoeopathy can be effective even in acute cases and stresses the importance of early consultation with a homoeopathic doctor to avoid complications. She also highlights that homoeopathic medicines do not contain steroids, underscoring the safety and efficacy of homoeopathic treatment.

In May 2023, Dr. Megha received the ‘Icon of Asia’ award and the ‘Women Leader Forum Award for Excellence in Homoeopathy’ in Dubai. She was also honoured with the Rajasthan Radiance Award in September 2023, followed by the ‘SuperWoman of the Year’ award. In January 2024, she was awarded the title of ‘Beauty with Brains'  in ‘Marvellous Mrs. India’. Her remarkable year of recognition culminated in these prestigious awards, acknowledging her 15 years of dedicated work in the field of homoeopathy.

She credits Dr. Aditi Govitrikar for suggesting she participate in Marvellous Mrs. India, recognising her qualities as suitable for the competition. After discussing with her husband and understanding the essence of the competition, she participated and won the Beauty with Brains title.

Dr. Megha advises aspiring homoeopathic doctors to recognise that homoeopathy is an art that requires a specific skill set. She emphasises that a homoeopathic doctor cannot be mediocre and must understand people's emotions and vulnerabilities to match them with the properties of medicines, making it a challenging field. However, if one excels in this, they can become the best.

She highlights that homoeopathic medicines boost immunity and can cure various ailments, encouraging students who understand emotions and vulnerabilities to pursue homoeopathy.

Dr. Megha recommends consulting a homoeopathic doctor for conditions like psoriasis, urticaria, and eczema, which are immune-related diseases, as homoeopaths specialise in these areas. She welcomes patients with allergies, skin diseases, or autoimmune disorders to seek homoeopathic treatment.
