A dedicated and hard-working professor, Maya teaches BSc and MSc students and handles administrative work. During the Republic Day camp in Delhi, she served as the contingent commander for Rajasthan. She oversees the NCC army wing at MLSU as well.

Dr. Maya Chaudhary is an Assistant Professor in the Geology Department at Mohanlal Sukhadia University in Udaipur.

Maya says that she followed her destiny in choosing this line of work. She has excelled academically since she was a little girl. Her original goal was to become a doctor, however she failed the MBBS admission exam. Afterwards, she made the decision to become a teacher and accepted a position as an assistant professor at MLSU. She now supervises four PhD scholars and also takes care of administrative duties. She oversees the NCC Army Wing at MLSU as well.

Maya is a native of Rajsamand, Udaipur. She comes from a family of farmers. She attended a government school to finish her education. She dropped out of eleventh grade to attend Allen Coaching Institute in Kota to prepare for medical admission tests. Sadly, though, she was unable to pass the test.

After returning from Kota, she did a BSc in Geology under the guidance of her elder brother.  She chose to pursue an MSc in the same discipline since her passion in this subject grew with time. She was the only female student in her class in 2010 when she decided to pursue an MSc in Geology. She learned that females may pursue a variety of options in this field. In 2017, she chose to finish her doctorate in the same field, and in 2018, she was hired as an assistant professor by the university.

Sharing her accomplishments, Maya states that in ninth class, she reached the Rashtrapati level in Scout & Guide and in tenth grade, she received the Gargi Award. She also became the School President. During her BSc, she also served as a Rajasthan Contingent Commander at the Republic Day camp in Delhi. After finishing her PhD, she earned third place in her MSc. Her appointment as an assistant professor at MLSU is her proudest achievement. MLSU's NCC army wing is under her leadership, which is a significant achievement for her.

Her father and her spouse provided her with encouragement and support at every turn of her journey. They pushed her to excel in this area. She says that because her in-laws are so encouraging, she is able to maintain a healthy work-life balance. In order to maintain her fitness and reduce stress, she also does yoga, meditation, and exercise. She thinks that by approaching work with a cheerful outlook, anything can be managed.

When asked about her role models, Maya responds that her sources of inspiration change with time and are diverse. At first, she thought her school's English teacher was really inspiring. During her BSc, she joined NCC Air Wing, which gave her more self-assurance. She also admires Captain Ram Chandra, the NCC Air Wing's CGI, who has always given her advice and support. Every step of the journey was accompanied by her spouse, Abhishek. She sees her father as a role model since he is a dedicated worker who has given up a lot for his kids' sake. Her doctoral advisor, M.L. Nagori served as a professional father figure to her.

She acknowledges that she has made a lot of errors in her life and accepts them. She laments not achieving her father's aim and failing the medical admission exam. She believes that there may have been a lack of direction and methods, or that she may have taken her studies less seriously. She also made blunders in her career and discovered the value of being realistic and avoiding harm. She also discovered that it's better to follow the right path rather than acting like an emotional fool and helping others.

Maya tells the pupils that life will reward them in one way or another if they work hard and have a positive outlook. Whatever one chooses to accomplish, one should never neglect their education since it is crucial to one's success in life. All pupils need to concentrate on their academic work. Her advice to everyone was to "be happy, stay cheerful, and stay positive."

She finds a lot of inspiration in the saying, "Khudi ko kar buland itna ki khuda khud tujhse pooche ki bata teri raza kya hai." It's in her nature to read inspirational literature, have a positive mentality, and be physically healthy.
