As an excellent periodontist, Dr. Maheshwari Patel wants to establish herself in the field of dentistry with her humble and hard working nature.

Maheshwari Patel was born and brought up in Gujarat. She did her schooling from P.P. Savani School and her graduation from Vaidik Dental College, Daman. After her B.D. S.Maheshwari joined Pacific Dental College and Hospital for her Master’s in Dentistry.

Initially, it wasn’t a plan of Maheshwari to do a Masters in the field of dentistry, but when she joined on an internship, she realized it was very important for her better future and a better career. She gave her NEET examination after six months of her graduation and cleared it to join Pacific Dental College in the Periodontics department.

Maheshwari’s motto is to become a dentist for people to save their teeth rather than plucking them out. She says this is the speciality of the Periodontics department, which she always dreamed of pursuing, that it teaches a dentist the ways to save the teeth of their patients instead of extracting it out. She feels most of the people think that if they go to see a dentist, they will have their teeth removed by them and she wants to change that.

When asked about her childhood, Maheshwari recalls all the good memories from her childhood where she would be careless about everything else in life and just eat, sleep and play. She laments the fact that those days have ended and now she has to be responsible and think before each step in life.

Maheshwari’s inspiration in life are her parents. Her dad, who is a businessman, has taught her how to work hard and earn everything from zero, and her mother who is a politician has passed on the spirit of never giving up to her. Her mother completed her studies despite being medically unfit after her marriage. She wants to make her parents proud of her and follow in their footsteps.

Maheshwari’s success mantra in life is to never give up and never surrender to situations. She says that no matter how hard life may get, she would never give up on her dreams, she would fight with her problems and rise above them  to be successful.
