Despite facing financial challenges, Dr. Madhusudhan pursued his education diligently, which ultimately laid the foundation for his successful career in teaching. He was awarded the Rajiv Gandhi National Fellowship and has authored nine research papers and several articles.

Dr. Madhusudhan Adhikary has been an Assistant Professor at Dakshin Guwahati B. Ed. College since 2019. His teaching journey began in 2013, and he has remained dedicated to this profession ever since.

Originally from West Bengal, he received his primary education in his village and continued his schooling at Padmeswari High School. After completing his schooling, he pursued a BA in Bengali (with honours) from Alipurduar Vivekananda College, followed by an MA in Bengali at Assam Central University.

In his pursuit of a teaching career, Dr. Madhusudhan completed his B. Ed. followed by a PhD between 2009 and 2014. He was also awarded the Rajiv Gandhi National Fellowship. Additionally, he obtained an M.Ed. from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj University to enhance his qualifications for teaching at a B.Ed. college. He began his career as a guest lecturer and has now progressed to the role of an assistant professor.

His childhood was spent in a small village without basic amenities like electricity. Despite financial constraints, his father strived to provide education for Dr. Madhusudhan and his siblings. Initially, he faced opposition from his parents when he expressed a desire to pursue higher education at Assam University, Silchar, after graduation. However, he persisted and went on to complete his higher education.

Throughout his academic journey, he has authored numerous articles and nine research papers, a passion he continues to pursue. He is also a proud member of the Kamtapuri Language Academy. Despite facing many challenges, he remains dedicated to his academic and professional growth.

Dr. Madhusudhan acknowledges Dr. Dilip Kumar Roy, a teacher who played a pivotal role in encouraging his academic pursuits, as his role model. He also credits all his teachers, who played a crucial role in shaping his journey. His family, particularly his parents and grandfather, were the source of inspiration for him.

In his free time, he engages in writing stories, plays, and poetry. He also enjoys spending time with friends and relatives. He actively seeks opportunities to help others, which he considers a guiding principle in his life.
