Dr. Pradeep Lodha, the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Medicentre Sonography and Clinical Lab in Udaipur, is responsible for overseeing the administration of the medical facility.

Pradeep says that Medicentre is one of the top clinical diagnostic laboratories, with eight branches in and around Udaipur.

Born and educated in Udaipur, Pradeep completed his schooling at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Pratap Nagar, and his MBBS from RNT Medical College, Udaipur. He says that his childhood was wonderful. Although becoming a doctor was not his dream, he felt compelled to pursue it because, during that time, opportunities in other fields were very limited and only two mainstream professions were available for the students graduating from the science stream, namely, engineering and medicine. Later, he specialized in pediatrics. However, his interest shifted towards administration, believing that doctors should also be involved in managing the operational aspects of a medical center.

Pradeep embraces life's challenges as valuable experiences and is not deterred by struggle.

Pradeep places great emphasis on maintaining superior quality and services at Medicentre. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the center took extra precautions, such as installing UV towers for sanitization, appointing dedicated staff for sanitation purposes, and ensuring proper sterilization of tools. They also implemented temperature monitoring, provided masks to patients, equipped the staff with PPE kits, and maintained regular cleaning and sanitization protocols throughout the premises.

Despite personally experiencing the worst time of his life during the pandemic, Pradeep considers it a professional hazard that he willingly faced. He strongly believes that doctors have the responsibility to serve patients, even during difficult times.

Talking about changes in society due to COVID, Pradeep says that the pandemic has brought a lot of fear into society, which will fade away with time. He thinks that the medical field is going to change because of COVID; more research will be done to avoid such a situation in the future, and doctors will take more precautions.

In Pradeep's opinion, education provides wisdom, and experience prevents the repetition of mistakes.

Advising the younger generation, Pradeep emphasizes the importance of realizing one's limitations and understanding what one cannot do.

According to Pradeep, leadership skills are acquired through experience. A good leader develops plans through strategic planning involving the entire team, remains focused, and calmly listens to and resolves the problems of team members.

Outside of work, Pradeep enjoys doing exercise, spending time with his family and friends, watching television, writing poems, and a few other things. He happily recites a poem dedicated to his daughter.
