A classical dancer, Dr. Krishna has been recognised and has received awards on various platforms, including Doordarshan and Sangeet Natak Akademi. As an accomplished dancer as well as a research scholar, she has researched, learnt, and performed Sattriya dance in order to gain expertise in it.

Dr. Krishna Tamuli is a Sattriya dancer based in Assam. She is also working in the Panchayat and Rural Development Department.

Dr. Krishna says that she grew up taking inspiration from her father, who is a Sattriya dancer. At the young age of five, she began learning the dance style. She was unable to spend much time with her pals because of her dancing classes. While in sixth grade, she developed a strong interest in academics and dreamed of earning a PhD in Dance.

Dr. Krishna received encouragement to learn classical dance from her family and began her dance career under her father's tutelage. She also thinks that participating in extracurricular activities aids in developing a unique personality. She is motivated by the respect that dancing has brought her since she was a little child.

When it comes to her accomplishments, Dr. Krishna says that her greatest successes have been finishing her PhD successfully and making her father happy. Additionally, she has received recognition for her dancing abilities on Doordarshan and Sangeet Natak Akademi platforms. She represented her university in the nationals and took first place in the university dance competition.

She says that in order to get a PhD seat at the college of her choosing, she had to put in a tonne of work and wait for two years. She had a great deal of difficulty researching the Sattriya dance tradition.

Dr. Krishna claims that her parents and instructors, who have always supported her, are her sources of motivation. His father is a Sattriya monk who had to fight hard to be established, yet he always complied with her wishes. Her mother, on the other hand, imparted life lessons to her, and she has always paid attention to their advice.

She acknowledges that she has lost out on opportunities and relationships because of her stubbornness and anger management problems. She gradually discovered the value of patience and tolerance in life.

Dr. Krishna believes that everyone should practise classical dance since it helps teach moral values and maintains physical and mental fitness. She continues by saying that learning classical dance may deepen your connection to the intellectual realm and your relationship with God.

She likes to sing and listen to music as hobbies. Her favourite subjects to write about are culture and community. She keeps a diary where she frequently records her feelings, which gives her some mental peace.
