Bhavesh says that he wanted to pursue MBBS but he couldn’t get admission into MBBS and hence had to choose BDS. But during his BDS from the first day itself he was resolute to give his best to the course. For his MDS, he worked really hard and stood at 3rd position in the whole country in the All India PG Entrance Examination.

To aspiring dentists, his advice is that Dentistry as a field demands a lot of hard work and you should focus equally on gaining theoretical as well as practical knowledge. Besides, you should never be disheartened by failures and should always be dedicated to improving your skills and knowledge of the field.
Bhavesh says that there’s not much awareness about dental hygiene in rural areas in the country. But as more people are choosing Dentistry now, some dental professionals will move to rural areas to provide dental services and things will improve.
Bhavesh thinks that in Dentistry education is important but experience is more important as skills in the field are learned by working only. And the more one practices the more one learns in this field.
If he could go back in time, then he would want to relive his school days and enjoy his time with his friends more. He would also want to focus more on gaining practical knowledge of the field during his BDS and not get disheartened by his small failures.
His success mantra is to work hard with dedication.
Bhavesh is a member of the Indian Dental Association as well as a member of the Indian Orthodontic Society.
Bhavesh wasn’t a born leader. He learned leadership during his post-graduation.
