A single parent and lifelong learner, Dr. Khushboo Arora runs her own physiotherapy clinic. Specializing in spinal rehabilitation, she inspires through service, and empowers patients and youth with education, discipline, and self-belief.

Dr. Khushboo Arora is a Practicing Physiotherapist with over 15 years of experience. She runs her own clinic, Dr. Khushboo’s Physiotherapy Clinic, located in Hiran Magri, Sector 5, Udaipur.

Her clinic specializes in spinal and spine-related cases, as spine rehabilitation is her super-specialty. Along with this, she also treats orthopaedic cases, sports injuries, and works extensively in women’s health.

Dr. Arora shares that from her childhood itself, she wanted to become a doctor. One of the strongest reasons behind this dream was her younger sister, who is a special child and is around four years younger than her. From an early age, she observed how doctors treated her sister and how medical care impacted her life.

In the years 1994–1995, when physiotherapy was not available in Udaipur, her family took her sister to Santokba Durlabhji Hospital in Jaipur. There, she witnessed significant development in her sister’s condition after rehabilitation. This experience deeply influenced her and motivated her to pursue physiotherapy as a profession. While she always aspired to become a doctor, she chose physiotherapy specifically because of her sister.

Dr. Khushboo Arora completed her studies from RUHS (Rajasthan University of Health Sciences), appeared for examinations through SMS Medical College, Jaipur and completed her internship from RNT Medical College, Udaipur in 2011.

She entered the field of physiotherapy after facing personal struggles and challenges. She completed her Bachelor’s Degree from RUHS. Soon after graduation, she got married, which led to a gap of around four and a half years in her academic pursuit. Unfortunately, her marriage did not work out, and she is now divorced. Today, she is a single parent and successfully runs her own clinic.

After her separation, it was her mother’s motivation that encouraged her to resume her studies and move forward. Gradually, she completed her first Master’s Degree, then her second Master’s Degree, followed by a Fellowship from Delhi at the Indian Spinal Injuries Centre.

She has completed a Fellowship in Spinal Rehabilitation, which is her super-specialization, and holds a Master’s Degree in Orthopaedics. Even today, she continues to study and is currently pursuing her PhD. She has been running her own clinic for the past seven years.

Dr. Khushboo was born and brought up in Udaipur, in 1987. She is the elder of two siblings, with her younger sister being a special child.

Talking about her childhood, she shares that it was largely positive and that her parents were extremely supportive. However, she also faced responsibilities early in life. She helped her mother take care of her sister, supported household work, and balanced these duties alongside her studies. She remained deeply focused on education and spent most of her time studying, which she considers her closest companion even today.

Her role model is her mother. She proudly refers to herself as a ‘Sardarni’ and shares the saying of the 10th Sikh Guru, Guru Gobind Singh Ji:

सूरा सो पहचानिए जो लड़े दीन के हेत, पुरजा-पुरजा कट मरे कबहूं न छोड़ें खेत।

She describes her mother as a true fighter. Although her mother is no longer alive, she remains her greatest inspiration. Her mother worked tirelessly—handling both children, managing the household, attending social and religious events—and did everything with grace. Dr. Khushboo never saw stress or exhaustion on her mother’s face; she was always smiling, patient, and composed.

Another major inspiration in her professional life is her mentor, Dr. Ashish Nagar, a senior Physiotherapist from Ahmedabad. Dr. Khushboo completed her training under his guidance. He strongly believed in her abilities and encouraged her to open her own clinic, instilling confidence in her that she could succeed. Along with her mentor, her mother’s support was equally instrumental in her progress.

She shares that her life has been full of struggles since childhood. Today, she is a single parent, manages her family, lives with her father, takes care of her sister, continues her studies, and successfully runs her clinic all simultaneously.

Dr. Khushboo’s Physiotherapy Clinic Owner Dr, Khushboo Arora strongly believes that education is extremely important. Even today, she continues to study and plans to keep learning throughout her life. After her bachelor’s degree, she resumed education and completed two masters degrees- one in Clinical Psychology and another in Orthopaedics—along with a super-specialization and several short-term courses such as Pilates, Needling, and more.

Many of her research papers and articles related to rehabilitation have been published. She consistently achieved A+ grades in her academic pursuits.

Physiotherapist Dr. Khushboo Arora’s message to patients is simple yet powerful: to stay healthy, one must focus on posture—how one walks, sits, performs daily activities, and especially how one uses mobile phones, as improper mobile usage is creating many health issues today. She emphasizes maintaining correct posture, eating a healthy diet in proper portions every 2–3 hours, exercising regularly, and walking daily to maintain overall well-being.

For the youth, she shares that self-belief, skills, service, and punctuality are the keys to success. She believes that one must set clear goals, continuously update skills, learn something new every day, and stay dedicated to the service they provide. Punctuality, she says, is extremely important, especially in healthcare. A physiotherapist must first be patient, listen carefully to patients, understand their problems, and only then diagnose and provide the best treatment.
