Her major interest is women’s rights and empowerment. From an early age, she has been fascinated by this field. Dr. Kirti believes that women are still unaware of their rights and are often misunderstood. Dr. Kirti thinks that a negative mindset is still prevalent in society, hampering the growth of women in different fields.
Dr. Kirti has also faced social pressure regarding marriage. However, she decided to do what felt right and did not bow down to any pressure.
Dr. Kirti considers herself a leader by work. She has seen her mother, a single parent, work hard all her life. While working on her thesis, she met different women who had suffered a lot in their lives. Her experiences and interactions have made her a leader by work.
Dr. Kirti says that one should have a connection to humanity and human emotions before joining this field of work. A human connection and the ability to feel the pain of others is a must in this field. Also, practicing what we preach is the first rule to be in this field of work.
Dr. Kirti is a dog lover and loves taking care of street dogs in her lane whenever she gets free time.
