Dr. Gajendra Singh Rathore comes from a small village named Baori Khera near Rawatbhata in Rajasthan. He has done his schooling from Neemuch and then B. Pharma. from B. R. Nahata College of Pharmacy, Mandsaur, Madhya Pradesh.
After that, he enrolled for his Post Graduation from B. N. College and also completed his Ph.D. there. He is working as an Assistant Professor for the past twelve years in Bhupal Noble’s Institute of Pharmacy. He also looks after the Students Coordination Cell and tries to resolve internal matters of students.
Gajendra says that his childhood was spent in a joint family. He learned to manage many things while living in a big family and feels that the advantages of a joint family are many and today’s generation will never be able to experience that.
Gajendra says that in his village education did not hold much importance. However, his parents wanted him to get a good education. He feels that Education gets you respect in society and a position in your family as well.
Gajendra shares that after graduation, he got campus placement in a company named GlaxoSmithKline and after training was sent to work at Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute, Lucknow. After working there for some time, Gajendra decided to do post-graduation and enrolled in B.N. College.
Gajendra considers his grandfather and father as Role Models. He shares that his grandfather had to leave his village for some reason and start from zero. He worked hard and his father carried the legacy. Gajendra says that they somehow managed a good education for him because of which he is leading a good life now.
He shares that Pharma as a sector has much scope. The need for new research in the field, collaborations in industries, and innovations are always going on, and hence it is a good field.
He advises the youth to focus on their goals and never lack in putting in efforts. They should try to stand out from the crowd and not be a part of it.
His Success Mantra in life is to keep churning our brains to get new ideas out and never be stagnant in life.
If given a Time Machine, Gajendra would like to travel back to his college days and do things he missed out on doing then.
In his free time, Gajendra likes to read books and stay connected to his family and friends.
