Viral, a BDS student from Rajkot, Gujarat, faced tough times and was supported by his parents. He believes that the world needs more doctors to make a positive impact.

Hailing from Rajkot, Gujarat, Viral completed his BDS with a specialization in dentistry from Goenka Dental Institute of Research, Gandhinagar. His parents supported him during his struggles and tough times.

Viral's childhood was one of the best times of his life. He completed his early education in a Gujarati-medium government school and then his higher secondary education in Rajasthan after shifting to Udaipur. He could not qualify for NEET after the 12th grade. In his second attempt, he got selected for dentistry at Pacific College. He wanted to do MBBS, but he could not get into it.

After coming back from work during the COVID-19 pandemic, he made sure in every way possible that none of his family members got the illness. Viral feels that doctors and nurses, along with other professions involved in essential duties, were the soldiers at the forefront of the pandemic. He believes that it is a great responsibility for all doctors, and one that he is proud of.

Viral believes that one must keep personal and professional lives separate. He believes that the financial capability of patients should also be taken into account. Someone following the medical profession would need to work hard towards this goal. For him, determination and sincerity are very important.

Viral’s father is one of his role models, as he is a very disciplined and determined person.

According to him, experience gives us the knowledge to develop our personalities and helps us face challenges in our personal and professional lives. He believes that leaders are made through experience alone. Good persuasive skills and teamwork are important skills that he believes a leader should possess. He believes that no one is a born leader. Everyone learns from experience and performance-based work by facing numerous challenges along the way.

If Viral could go back in time, he would want to go back to his childhood days.

In his free time, Viral likes to cook a variety of new dishes.
