Describing her journey, Dipti says she has been in the field of medicine for forty years. Initially, after her MBBS, she practiced women's health and maternity services and followed her MD specialization. But her interest made her go to Germany to specialize in endoscopy. She remembers that those days were difficult for her as a woman and as a mother, too. She had two kids who were only nine years and eight months old when she went to Germany to do her studies. But her husband was her great support and took care of her kids very well.
Looking at future possibilities, Dipti went to America and other parts of the country to pursue education in the field of IVF. She then started her IVF services in Surat at her clinic. She is also a certified cosmetic gynecologist.
When asked about her role models, Dipti says she considers her uncle, who was a doctor, to have been her role model since her childhood. She also looks up to one of her medical professors, Dr. Manjula Iyyer who was a gynecologist. She seeks inspiration from Amitabh Bachchan, the legendary actor.
Dipti’s life mantra is work hard, be generous, and be honest with your work.
For young aspirants who want to follow medicine as their profession, Dipti has a piece of advice that they must understand whether medicine is their real passion or not. They must know that medical studies are not just studies but a long process. She also says that being intelligent is not sufficient, persistence is the key to success in this field.
