Coming from a rural background, Deepika had the courage to explore a completely different culture and continued her studies to achieve her desired goals.

Deepika Patidar is a scholar at the National Institute of Ayurveda, Jaipur.

Deepika belongs to Neemuch.

Recalling her childhood, Deepika says that she spent her early childhood in her village in Madhya Pradesh and studied there till eighth standard. Then she moved to Pratapgarh and continued the rest of her schooling in Rajasthan.

After completing her schooling, she went to Kota to prepare for the AIPMT. She wanted to become a doctor but could not clear the AIPMT in her first attempt. Meanwhile, she got selected for the National Institute of Ayurveda, and she did her BMS at the NIA. She is currently pursuing her postgraduate degree from the same institute.

When asked about her role models, Deepika says that her maternal uncle is her inspiration and has guided her in every step of her life.

Deepika believes that there is a need to balance both education and experience in life. Without one,  the other is incomplete.

Sharing about her challenges, Deepika says that although there were no major problems in her life, she remembers that she could not get a medical college in MP as she mentioned her domicile as that of Rajasthan in the form. Preparing for PMT was the most challenging phase of her life.

In her spare time, Deepika likes to watch movies and listen to songs.

Deepika’s life mantra is to work hard and not worry about the results.

To all the youngsters who are pursuing this field, Deepika advises them to dedicate themselves to learning about it.
