Dr. Chandra is working in the field of Ayurvedic Medicines.  He is working for society by creating awareness about Ayurvedic Medicines and treatments.

Dr. Chandra Prakash Patel is working as a Project Manager in the Health Division of the Jagran Jan Vikas Samiti, Udaipur, Rajasthan. He is an Ayurvedic Doctor working in the field of traditional medicine.

He did his Senior Secondary from Vidhya Bhavan Higher Secondary School in Udaipur. He has done ‘Bachelor of Medical Sciences’ from Rajasthan Ayurved University, Jodhpur.

Chandra says that his organization works in the field of creating awareness about traditional medicines. They provide training in this field and also conduct promotional workshops. Currently, they are focused on women's health and Covid.

During Covid, they conducted awareness camps in villages and taught people about sanitation, hygiene, and other concepts of keeping themselves safe. They conducted baseline and door-to-door surveys to know about migrants. They started camps and distributed 20000 units of Ayurvedic Immunity Booster drink to people. They distributed Covid essentials and food packets to the needy. They created awareness in crowded areas regarding social distancing. They still have ten Health Animators and five Coordinators working in the field and providing treatment and training.

Chandra says that his father was from a very small village. He always wanted to become a doctor. However he could not become one due to financial drawbacks and became a teacher. Chandra always had this in mind and wanted to fulfill his father’s dream. He shares that after giving his first Pre-Medical Entrance Test he realized that it was very tough. He went to a coaching institute and invested all his time in his studies. With hard work, he was able to get admission to a good government college.

Chandra says that the coming generation should first decide on a definite target in life. They should work in that direction with full dedication and perseverance. He feels that young people in today’s time are more attracted to shortcuts and easy ways. However, he says that such things don’t work in life and only divert our attention in the wrong directions.

Chandra considers becoming the first doctor from his village as his biggest achievement in life. He says that the only success mantra in life is to be your own competition and not to compare yourself with others.

In his free time, Chandra likes to listen to old Bollywood songs and read books. Reading books has also brought many G.K. competition wins for him.
