People may say things about you when you do something different, but you should always be focused on your goal and not worry about what they have to say.

Dr Bhawna Choudhary runs a school by the name Mount View Senior Secondary School in Udaipur. Besides, she also administers Shree Ram Teachers Training College, Udaipur.
Bhawna was born in Banswara and received her school education in Banswara itself. She did B.Sc. and M.Sc.
Bhawna says that her father was a journalist. He always inspired her to study hard and work in an administrative post. She appeared for the RAS exam and reached the interview stage but couldn’t clear it despite trying her best. Later after her wedding, her father-in-law entrusted her to look after the school run by him in Udaipur.
Bhawna shares that her father-in-law advised her to treat all work equally in the school administration. She taught Science there for three years and learnt a lot during her teaching journey. After that, she started a teachers training college and herself did her B.Ed. and M.Ed. Then she also started another school along with her husband in Udaipur.
Bhawna says that the Covid pandemic has impacted the studies of children. Though they are attending school online, from a psychological standpoint they are not developing as per their age.
Bhawna shares that she belongs to a community where women are still not given that many opportunities. But her in-laws and her husband always encouraged her to study further and after her wedding, she completed her B.Ed., M.Ed. and PhD.
Talking about challenges she faced in starting her school, Bhawna says that initially, she faced a lot of problems about finances, managing admissions of the students, teaching and other facilities at her school. Now she is doing fine with her school and is aiming to get it affiliated to CBSE, New Delhi. Besides, she is also planning to start new degree courses like B.Sc. at her college.
Bhawna believes that women empowerment is paramount as it gives women a broader perspective on life than just fulfilling their household chores. She thinks that if women themselves are motivated then they will get the required support from their families and society to progress in life.
Bhawna says that a leader is someone who doesn’t differentiate a person based on their profession or role in the organisation. She also works with everyone at her school like a team member and considers them as family members. And her leadership style is a testament to the fact that in just seven years she has grown her school from two hundred students to fourteen hundred students.
Talking about the mistakes she committed in life, Bhawna says that she couldn’t clear the Civil Services Examination and the RAS Examination because she did not put in as much effort as required to clear the exams.
If she could go back in time, then Bhawna would want to relive her college time and enjoy it. Besides, she would also want to mend her mistakes so that she could achieve in her career what she wanted to.
During her free time, Bhawna likes to spend time with her friends and kids and enjoy it.
To anyone who wants to start their own school, Bhawna says that first and foremost patience is required to establish a school as it takes time for things to take shape. She says that starting a school is more of a noble work than a business. So if you just want to make money then it is not the right profession for you.
Bhawna’s success mantra is, Keep working and things shall work out for you and never stop learning in life.
Bhawna says that whenever you do something good and get success in life, people will try to bring you down. So not giving heed to what people have to say about you is the key to surviving and progressing in life.
