Bhamashah Award winner, Neurotherapist Dr. Bhavini Gurjar is redefining healthcare innovation and social impact. As the Founder of Thinesip, she pioneers personalized nutrition solutions, while leading Ubuntu Arts and Welfare Society to preserve Indian culture and support social welfare.

Dr. Bhavini Gurjar is a Neurotherapist. She is also the Executive General of Ubuntu Arts and Welfare Society and Founder of Thinesip in Udaipur.

She recently completed her specialization in Neuroscience from Duke University, USA. She shares insights about two significant ventures that she's currently involved with. The first is her NGO, Ubuntu Arts and Welfare Society, which she launched in 2021, just after the COVID-19 pandemic. Her second venture is a health-focused startup named Thinesip, initiated in 2024.

Neurotherapist Dr. Bhavini Gurjar says the idea behind Thinesip emerged during her internship at Fortis Hospital, Gurugram, where hectic schedules left little time for nutritious, timely breakfasts. She recalls often feeling the struggle of lacking proper nutrition and noticing the same issue among her colleagues. Initially uncertain about how to address this problem, Dr. Bhavini began discussing her thoughts with healthcare professionals and experienced entrepreneurs. She quickly realized her limited knowledge of entrepreneurship, prompting her to refine her concepts about entrepreneurship extensively.

After careful consideration and consultation, she developed Thinesip into a subscription-based health platform. Dr. Bhavini explains that Thinesip begins by conducting detailed health surveys for each customer, recognizing that every individual has unique nutritional and health requirements. As a doctor, she learned firsthand that medical conditions rarely occur in isolation—patients often face multiple health concerns simultaneously, such as Diabetes coupled with Hypertension and Arthritis.

With this in mind, her team of doctors analyzes each survey, designs personalized beverage recipes, and delivers freshly-prepared drinks daily to subscribers. Dr. Bhavini highlights that Thinesip beverages are entirely natural, free from preservatives, additives, or added sugars, aiming for maximum freshness and nutritional benefit.

Dr. Bhavini shares the thought behind naming her venture "Thinesip." She clarifies that "Thine" signifies something exclusively tailored or customized for each individual, while "Sip" naturally refers to beverages. Thus, "Thinesip" perfectly encapsulates the concept of personalized health beverages crafted specifically according to each person's unique nutritional needs. Dr. Bhavini also hints at the launch of new products soon, urging viewers to follow Thinesip on Instagram for regular updates.

Speaking about her NGO, Ubuntu Arts and Welfare Society, Dr. Bhavini Gurjar mentions that the organization was born out of the emotional and social hardships witnessed during the COVID-19 pandemic. Motivated by her prior experiences in charitable activities, particularly donating 30 inches of her own hair to cancer patients—alongside her family members—she decided to scale these efforts by formally establishing Ubuntu Society in 2021.

The NGO uniquely focuses on promoting traditional Indian Classical Arts among younger generations, who she believes lack sufficient exposure to India's rich cultural heritage. Additionally, NGO Founder Dr. Bhavini emphasizes Ubuntu Society’s  distinctive funding model: it accepts contributions exclusively from businesses and corporate entities, avoiding individual donations. Despite limiting their funding sources, the NGO effectively runs successful programs across Udaipur, Bhilwara, Rajsamand, and Dungarpur.

Talking about her recent involvement with She Circle India (SCI), Thinesip Founder Dr. Bhavini says she joined the network in November last year, which greatly enhanced her entrepreneurial path. Through SCI, she connected with many passionate, disciplined female entrepreneurs from Udaipur, creating opportunities to meet influential figures from the community. Dr. Bhavini highlights her memorable encounters with inspiring personalities such as Her Highness Nivritti Kumari of Mewar and the Rajsamand MLA Deepti Maheshwari. These interactions have not only motivated her but also provided substantial exposure and support for growing her ventures.

Reflecting briefly on her personal life, Dr. Bhavini mentions she was born and raised in Udaipur India, where she initially pursued her schooling before specializing in Neuroscience at Duke University in the USA.

Dr. Bhavini Gurjar recalls her childhood fondly, sharing that one particularly good memory is how each year was filled with extracurricular activities after school. She explains that there was never a year without involvement in some form of activity, whether it was dance, swimming, or skating classes. Dr. Bhavini emphasizes how consistently participating in these activities significantly boosted her confidence.

From a very young age—around three years—she actively participated in various competitions, especially dance, which was her favorite. Dr. Gurjar says that from Nursery until Class 10, she never missed participating in a single school dance competition, even when she changed schools. She mentions that this dedication resulted in several awards, further reinforcing her passion. Despite her active participation in extracurricular activities, Dr. Bhavini maintains she remained academically strong, even becoming a merit holder.

She believes this extensive experience on stage from an early age enabled her to represent herself confidently in college, although her college days were primarily spent during the COVID-19 period, limiting her college memories. After completing college, she specialized in Neuroscience and moved abroad for a brief period. Upon returning to India, Dr. Bhavini joined Fortis Healthcare, Gurugram, as a doctor. She describes her tenure there as memorable, though very hectic, noting that life as a doctor in a hospital is far from easy. Still, she finds beauty in every phase of life, including her current role as an entrepreneur, which has its own set of challenges.

When asked about her role models, Dr. Bhavini Gurjar promptly names her parents. She mentions her mother, who is also an entrepreneur running a dance academy, as a key inspiration behind her entrepreneurial spirit. Speaking warmly about both her parents, she poetically describes them as lotuses blooming beautifully even in difficult conditions. Dr. Bhavini highlights their continuous and unconditional support, whether it involves extracurricular activities, career choices, or relocation for studies or new ventures. She emphasizes that such unwavering parental support is invaluable for a child.

Dr. Bhavini Gurjar continues by sharing some memorable achievements from her life. Having always been deeply engaged in extracurricular activities, she explains that she has secured several notable accomplishments, including participation at the national level in dance and photography competitions, where she earned multiple medals.

Dr. Bhavini further highlights that academically, one of her significant achievements was being selected to study Neuroscience at Duke University in the USA. Another memorable accomplishment was securing a position at Fortis Healthcare, Gurugram, following the traditional route of sending her resume and going through rigorous interviews—an experience she describes as challenging yet rewarding.

Recently, Dr. Bhavini experienced another fulfilling moment when she was awarded the "Bhamashah Samman" from the School for the Blind in Udaipur, presented in recognition of the contributions by her NGO. This particular award greatly motivated her and the entire team to continue their dedicated efforts toward supporting children. Although her NGO regularly conducts programs and charitable activities each month, she emphasizes that receiving such recognition provides significant motivation to sustain and expand their initiatives.

When asked how people may connect with her ventures, Dr. Bhavini Gurjar elaborates on the operations of her company, Thinesip. She explains that Thinesip operates through three distinct units: the Health Unit, responsible for conducting individual health surveys and creating personalized recipes; the Manufacturing Unit, tasked with preparing these tailored beverages; and the Service Unit, which ensures fresh drinks are delivered to customers’ doorsteps each morning without delay. She encourages those interested in subscribing or learning more about Thinesip to reach out via Thinesip's WhatsApp number, email, or the official Instagram page.

For those looking to support or volunteer for her NGO, Dr. Bhavini suggests contacting them through the NGO’s official contact number or their Instagram profile. Additionally, detailed information about the activities of the NGO can be easily found online by searching its name along with the city.

Concluding warmly, Dr. Bhavini Gurjar expresses gratitude toward the viewers, thanking them sincerely for watching her story and supporting Thinesip through She Circle India.
