As the founder, Dr. Asim Shrivastava heads the Shreeji Group of Education in Udaipur. The group is an educational hub that encompasses both Shreeji Coaching Classes and a dedicated school, fostering learning from foundational to advanced levels.

Dr. Asim Shrivastava shares that Shreeji Coaching Classes in Udaipur prepares students for various competitive exams. The institute has two branches—one in Hiran Magri, Sector 4 and another in Sector 9—and specializes in Stenographers exam preparation. Many of its students have gone on to serve in government institutions as stenographers. Dr. Asim takes pride in mentioning that his institute is the only registered stenography institute by Bhasha Vigyan Vibhag in Southern Rajasthan. In addition, Shreeji Coaching Classes also provides coaching for government exams such as the Patwari and Constable exams, and the REET.

Speaking further about Shreeji Coaching Classes, Dr. Shrivastava shares that the institute was established in 2016 in a small room which later expanded to two branches. They also run a primary school called My Chhota School and own the school’s Rajasthan franchise. Dr. Shrivastava also highlights the USP of his institute which lies in personal interaction with students and working on their moral duties and overall development. Having witnessed the anxiety and depression that students face these days, Dr. Asim shares that interacting one-to-one with students and establishing a bond with them has borne him fruitful results.

Discussing his achievements, Dr. Asim shares that he was felicitated at the G20 Summit on the occasion of Teachers Day. He has contributed various articles and written two books on Chemistry for aspiring Pharmacy students. Dr. Asim strives to share his knowledge with students through his books. He has also been awarded by various organisations for his contributions to the field of education.

When asked about his inspiration for entering the field of education, Dr. Asim shares that he originally comes from a pharmacy background and got an offer to work at Cipla Pharmaceuticals. However, he chose not to pursue that opportunity, as he didn’t want to leave Udaipur, especially since his mother’s health was deteriorating. As her only son, he decided to stay and take care of her. Since clearing his 12th, Dr. Shrivastava had been giving private tuitions. Over time, as student enrollment grew, his small space became insufficient, leading to gradual expansion. Today, his coaching institute serves over 700-800 students.

Sharing a glimpse of his challenges, Dr. Asim Shrivastava shares that he faced no such challenges in the beginning of his journey owing to the blessings of his parents. But since his mother’s health deteriorated, he started giving tutions after his bachelors and decided to be with his parents. Dr. Asim was able to manage both his professional life alongside family responsibilities, and acquired many students and went on to open two branches of his institute in Udaipur.

Reflecting on his early days, Dr. Asim Shrivastava shares that he started his educational journey at a Hindi-medium school in Udaipur. He later cleared NEET and pursued his B.Pharm, M.Pharm, and PhD in Pharmaceutical Medicinal Chemistry. Dr. Shrivastava has also completed an MBA in Healthcare Management, a course in Sign Journalism, and a Diploma in Yoga. For Dr. Asim, learning is a lifelong process, and he believes that the moment you stop learning, you stop growing.

Dr. Shrivastava shares an example of his late maternal grandmother, who would ask for the meanings of English words while watching a TV serial. He also recalls how she learned to operate a mobile phone at the age of 85 and he always felt inspired by her curiosity to learn. He emphasizes the importance of lifelong learning, urging everyone to continue learning throughout their lives.

When asked about his role models, Dr. Asim Shrivastava says he draws inspiration from his mother, who taught him to believe in God, and he credits his success to her guidance. Although his mother is no longer with him, Dr. Asim continues to carry her life lessons. He also looks up to his father, who taught him the importance of continual growth through both good and bad times. His father’s wisdom also includes the advice to not be too happy during the best times, nor too sad in difficult situations.

In the field of education, Prof. C.A. Sharma is someone Dr. Shrivastava  looks up to, considering him an intellectual and knowledgeable personality. He aspires to follow in his footsteps. Dr. Shrivastava is also grateful to his school friends, who have supported him through thick and thin.

The song "Yun Hi Chala Chal Rahi" always inspires Dr. Asim Shrivastava, reminding him to keep moving forward in life despite all odds. His 3-year-old child also enjoys the song just as much.

Discussing his work experience which he gained prior to entering the field of education, Dr. Asim Shrivastava shares that he used to work as a Medical Representative for a pharmaceutical company. He was later offered an opportunity to work at Cipla Pharmaceuticals in Goa, but due to his mother’s health conditions, he chose to forgo the opportunity and stayed in his hometown of Udaipur. Given his family responsibilities, Dr. Shrivastava decided to pursue a career in education. Always inclined towards teaching, studies, and learning, he ultimately chose to make teaching his professional path.

Dr. Shrivastava also highlights the noble and responsible nature of the pharmacy profession, which involves not only dispensing medications but also informing doctors about medicines and their dosages. He sheds light on the growing misuse of antibiotics, noting that many people now purchase them directly from pharmacies without a doctor's prescription.

In his message to aspiring pharmacy students, Dr. Shrivastava says that pharmacy has a wide scope and brings learning opportunities for medical students. He says in pharmacy, students are taught about the process of making medicines to the stage it is sold in the market. Dr. Asim says all pharmacists can avail their licence and then start working in the field.

Advising the youth, Dr. Asim Shrivastava emphasizes the importance of using technology wisely and cautions against handing mobile phones to young children, as it could lead to issues such as autism. He urges parents to set limits on their child's screen time for their well-being.

Dr. Asim also expresses concern about how the youth can become victims of online gaming and gambling through unguarded use of mobile phones. He encourages the youth to channel their energy in the right direction, reminding them that there are no shortcuts to success. He warns that taking shortcuts can destroy not only the lives of young individuals but also their families.

Dr. Asim also advises all parents not to put too much pressure on their kids and to be friendly with them. He says that though making them job-ready is important, displaying a friendly behaviour towards their children is important.

In the end, Dr. Asim advises all students struggling with their career choices to visit Shreeji Coaching Classes, which not only prepares students for competitive exams but also focuses on their overall development.
