Being born into a family with minimal means of survival, Ashutosh worked really hard to raise his family’s standard of living. Today he has all that he needs and is content with the way he is leading his life.

Dr. Ashutosh Dwivedi is a dental surgeon and owns Chandrika Dental Clinic in Varanasi. He has been in the profession of dentistry for the past ten years now.

Ashutosh hails from Varanasi. He completed his schooling at a government school.

Talking about his childhood, Ashutosh says that his childhood was spent ordinarily. Growing up, he had a dearth of resources at his end. However, his parents tried their best to raise him, he says. Besides, he says, he is reminiscent of playing outdoor sports with his friends.

When asked about his role models, Ashutosh says that he has always considered his maternal uncle as his role model. And he finds his uncle worthy of emulation.

Ashutosh thinks that there’s no shortcut to success. One has to work extremely hard to achieve their goal. Besides, he advises people not to hold any negative impressions of anyone and to always remain positive in life.

Sharing his COVID experience, Ashutosh says that during the pandemic he followed all the COVID protocols to take care of his and his patients’ safety as dentistry involves oral examination. Besides, he also gave free online and over-the-phone consultations to his patients.

Talking about his challenges, Ashutosh says that he did not have to face any major struggles in life as such. However, due to some family issues, he could not complete his internship on time, and owing to that his degree course got extended by six months.

Ashutosh is of the opinion that oral cancer is a prevalent disease nowadays and we need more dentists to tackle it. He urges the government to look into it and do the needful. Besides, he advises people to take care of their oral health and take timely treatment for their oral diseases.
