Dr. Aseem Jain is an Associate Professor in the Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics at Pacific Dental College and Hospital, Udaipur. For the past five and a half years, he has been working here. He discusses the area of endodontics and dentistry that deals with maintaining and restoring teeth. According to him, this department operates under the fundamental tenet that your natural teeth will serve you better in the long run the longer you can keep them in place.

Dr. Jain is from Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, and graduated from Maharana Pratap College of Dentistry with a bachelor's degree. During his childhood, there was minimal disruption caused by cell phones. He feels that today's children do not enjoy nature and physical activities as much as he did in his childhood.

Dr. Aseem adds that when it comes to role models, you should establish certain expectations based on your talents and how much you can achieve in a given area. He believes that instead of looking to other people for inspiration, you should go within to determine what your skills are and whether you have what it takes to be an inspiration to others.

He feels that self-doubt is a more hazardous thing in life than actual failure if you harbour it. He says, "Don't doubt yourself before beginning any work; just keep working on it."

Regarding accomplishments, Dr. Aseem notes that he was extremely fortunate to have been raised in a middle-class Indian household and to have faced no difficulties while pursuing his studies up to graduation. His true struggles began when he moved to Udaipur, established his own clinic, and built a reputation for himself. Reaching this level is an accomplishment for him.

Dr. Aseem suggests that dentistry is an exciting and developing discipline with a bright future. According to Dr. Aseem, dentistry offers more opportunities compared to the medical field.

Dr. Jain believes that as we become more self-centered and rely on society for our income, it is our moral obligation to return the favors we receive. He advises young people to consider society as a whole rather than just themselves when entering any career.
