A hard-working and dedicated person, Ankita follows her passion for teaching and likes to motivate students. She has been working in the field of teaching for the last twelve years.

Dr. Ankita Sharma is a Post-Graduate Teacher at DPS Ajmer Senior Secondary School in Ajmer.

Ankita was born in Kota but brought up in Ajmer. After the death of her parents, she is residing with her maternal grandparents. She completed her graduation, PG, and PhD from Ajmer.

Recalling her childhood, Ankita says that she had always wanted to become a teacher. She was an average student, and most of the time she bunked classes, especially the chemistry class.

Ankita explains that after graduating, she began giving tuition to improve her teaching and concepts. She then pursued a master's degree in Chemistry in the English medium.

Talking about her struggles, Ankita says that she faced many challenges as she had done her studies in the Hindi medium. She gave many interviews but was rejected because of her weak English. But she didn’t give up, and was then selected for the post of Assistant Professor at a college. She gradually gained confidence in teaching Chemistry and got appointed as a PGT at DPS. Being a teacher, she faced many struggles but believes that it is important to face the problems and try to overcome them.

Ankita’s role models are her maternal grandmother and maternal uncle, as they have always supported and motivated her. She also admires her husband, as he has encouraged her a lot and helped boost her confidence.

Accepting her mistakes, Ankita says that when she was in the tenth and twelfth grades, she got less marks because of improper strategy. She learned that it is important to have a proper strategy in life.

Sharing her achievements, Ankita says that she always had a dream to see ‘Dr.’ prefixed to her name, and she achieved it. She met a lot of people and learned a lot from them in order to improve her teaching skills and strategies.

Ankita advises the young generation that along with good studies, it is also very important to become a good person in life. You should respect your teacher, elders, and parents. Time management and proper balancing  of things are required to achieve your goals.

Comparing education and experience, Ankita says that a balance of both is important in life. Education gives you the right mindset and path to move forward. On the other hand, experience helps you stay updated.

In her spare time, Ankita likes to enjoy some ‘me time’. She also likes to read spiritual books, play, and listen to music.
