Dr. Anjula Pandey is a Physiotherapist and owner of Sadhana Physiotherapy in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. She also provides her services at the Jana Seva Kendra in Prayagraj.
Anjula is from Prayagraj but due to the transferrable nature of her father’s job, she has spent her childhood at places like Jinjhak, Hardoi, Lucknow, and Agra. She did her primary schooling from Saraswati Shishu Mandir, Jhinjhak. During her school days, she came to know about the field of medicine and physiotherapy through the activities they used to have then. Also, her grandmother also motivated Anjula to pursue this field.
Anjula says that it gives her immense pleasure to treat patients and finds this field to be a very noble one. It requires a lot of patience, perseverance, and hard work to become a physiotherapist according to her.
Talking about her role models, Anjula says that Dr. Ali Irani and Dr. Rohit Subedar, HOD, Bombay Hospital, Indore are two people who have inspired and taught her. Their humble nature and knowledge inspire Anjula a lot.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Anjula enjoyed the lockdown phase and learned many new things like facial makeup and doll making. She also attended to her patients on video calls and kept serving the people.
In her free time, Anjula likes dancing, pursuing Mehndi and Interior designing, car driving, reading mythological and spiritual novels, and doll making.
Anjula says that her success mantra in life is to never be fearful of what you are doing in life and always pay gratitude to whatever you have in life.
