Dr. Akanksha Sharma is a Certified Life Coach and Motivational Speaker. Besides, she is a Lecturer at Acharya Gyan Law College, teaching constitutional law.
She educates people about the mind, body, and soul, emphasizing that one can heal oneself from any disease through mindset. Dr. Sharma focuses on hypnotic meditation, which directly activates the subconscious mind to treat the body. She explains that just as one must take care of an injury to prevent infection, one must treat the soul affected by depression, anxiety, or overthinking with a supportive environment. She also emphasizes the importance of rehabilitating children's mindsets and aims to change people's lives through mindset transformation.
Dr. Akanksha has designed programs to treat people and is getting positive results from them. There are three main programs: the 21-Day Self-Transformation Program which aims to replace negative thought processes with a positive belief system, addressing 99% of the participants' issues, the Inner Child Healing Program which focuses on teaching individuals to love themselves by healing their inner child and the 7-Day Self-Love Program, which teaches the true meaning of self-love, helping individuals differentiate between self-love and selfishness, and protect themselves from negative thought processes.
All three programs are offered online. Additionally, she operates an offline center named the ‘Mind Body Soul Center’ in Bhilwara.
Dr. Akanksha is from Shahpura, Bhilwara. Her parents are teachers who prioritized her and her younger brother's education. An excellent student, she always came 1st in her class in 10th and 12th. She completed her B.Sc. in Botany Honors from Vanasthali Vidhyapeeth and dropped a year to pursue higher studies.
Although she had to change her branch in college due to hostel issues, she earned a gold medal in M.Sc.-IT. She also qualified for NET-JRF and enrolled in MDSU, Ajmer for a PhD, completing it last year. Her PhD topic dealt with sexual abuse against women and children.
At her offline center, she offers consultations where she listens to the problems or feelings that clients are facing in detail. She identifies the patient's needs and assesses whether they are dealing with excessive negativity, understanding their mindset through two or three sessions. Once she gets an idea about their problems, she advises them not to overthink for a month. Within 15 days, the complaints usually start to minimize, and after 30 days, there are no complaints left. Clients begin to love themselves, work on personal development, and set goals to change themselves.
Dr. Akanksha Sharma shares that she got into this field unexpectedly as from childhood, she was a secret keeper for all her friends. She says a turning point came in her life when she helped a friend who had attempted suicide. This event was significant for her because it highlighted the impact of mindset on one's life. Her friend had attempted suicide due to a domestic fight and a troubled relationship with her husband, despite having a two-year-old baby.
Dr. Akanksha started treating her by leading her to do meditation via video calls. By the 10th day, her friend felt improvement in her relationship with her husband. This experience taught Dr. Akanksha that mindset greatly affects one's relationships and overall well-being. She now helps people, including professionals like doctors and bank managers, find inner peace and improve their relationships through mindset transformation.
Going back to her early years, Dr. Akanksha remembers she got married in Bhilwara and was blessed with a cooperative family, especially a supportive her mother-in-law.
After a year, she had a baby, and her struggles began as everyone in the family was working. During that time, her mother-in-law who is a Public Prosecutor, encouraged her to pursue an LL.B. and LL.M. She elaborates that she has learned a lot from her mother-in-law, who supported her from day one.
She attempted multiple government exams, missing the mark by just one or two points. After having children, she experienced a rebirth and began her spiritual journey, discovering her life's purpose.
Despite setbacks, she continued her spiritual journey, learning yoga and meditation to find peace and purpose.
Dr. Sharma considers her father her role model for living a spiritual life. She recalls how she once thought people misused her father's generosity but later realized his actions were rooted in spirituality. Her parents, who helped financially constrained students, inspired her a lot.
In reference to her achievements, Dr. Akanksha shares that beyond satisfaction and inner peace, there are many ways to achieve success in life. She considers losing weight a significant accomplishment, having gone from 80 kg to 63-64 kg. This transformation has inspired others to take care of their health with proper diet, and she is seen as a role model, especially for women trying to manage their weight after childbirth. She embodies the hope that having children does not limit one's future.
Dr. Akanksha never gets bored or tired of speaking about spirituality. She advises everyone to understand their purpose and put their best effort into their work. Till date, she has assisted around 300 people, with 90% of them being women who are on the path of having inner peace.
Dr. Akanksha shares her struggles and recalls the time when she had premature twins, fearing that her career might be lost as the twins required complete care. During this gap in her professional career, her father suggested she take a yoga course. Having a background in gymnastics, she found yoga interesting and eventually immersed herself in it. She connected with a mentor to gain more knowledge in spirituality, started doing meditation, and found peace despite having three young children. Meditation became a complete lifestyle for her.
In 2018, she truly experienced the benefits of meditation. Initially, she found it difficult as meditation was not a common practice around her. She reached out to various mentors, focused on breathing, and practiced guided meditation, which helped her feel relaxed and at peace.
Her 21-day program began with a small client base and has grown significantly. She emphasizes that mindset change can solve life's struggles within a month.
Despite challenges, including her Ph.D. journey, she believes in helping others and trusting that her solution will resolve problems.
Dr. Sharma is inspired by Martin Luther King's quote, "If you can’t fly, then run; if you can’t run, then walk; if you can’t walk, then crawl; but keep moving forward." Dr. Akanksha also loves A.R. Rahman's song "Choti Si Asha," as it resonates deeply with her.
Dr. Akanksha says that by using social media platforms like YouTube, anyone can learn anything, as there are plenty of options available on the internet to help you achieve better results in life. The key is to have a learning attitude.
Her primary objective is to solve other people's problems and help them achieve inner peace, believing that money will come naturally as a result. She advises those who want to guide others to first follow a spiritual path, meditate, understand their skills, and then serve the world well.
Dr. Akanksha has a message for everyone, that before trying to help someone, find the "why," "what," and "how" about your life’s purpose. Your dreams can be fulfilled by staying on the right path.
Dr. Akanksha encourages women to support each other, even when they have children, in pursuing their dreams. She believes everyone has the capability to exceed expectations.
