Aijaz is a generous and down-to-earth person who is trying  to bring sensational changes to the treatment of diabetes that would help millions of patients of the disease around the world.

Dr. Aijaz Aziz Sulemani is a Homeopathic Physician specializing in diabetes. He is currently posted as a Principal at Mangilal Nirvan Homoeopathic Medical College and loves to teach. He has been in this field for the last 18 years.

Aijaz belongs to Bikaner. He completed his schooling in Bikaner itself. Thereafter, he did his graduation from Punjab and post-graduation from Jaipur.

Recalling his childhood, Aijaz says that he was like every other child. He used to play a lot and study less. He believes nowadays children are engaged with mobile phones and are missing out on the real fun of outdoor games, which is rather saddening.

Sharing about his journey, Aijaz says that his father was an allopathic physician and cardiologist, and seeing him always fascinated him about the profession. But realizing the side effects of allopathic treatments, he chose homeopathy. He became confident about it when he was doing his postgraduate work.

Describing his research work, Aijaz says that in allopathy, the only solution for diabetes is using insulin to manage blood sugar level, but he is currently working towards minimizing the use of insulin and promoting homeopathic medicines, which target the root of the disease and hence give better results. For this purpose, his college has also signed a memorandum of understanding with the Central Council of Research in Siddha.

Sharing about his mistakes, Aijaz says that he has always tried to see his mistakes in a positive light and learn from them. While teaching, he sometimes makes mistakes on purpose to test the alertness of  his students during the class.

When asked about his role models, Aijaz says that every conversation with his patients makes him learn something new and gain more experience in the field. Besides, his parents are his inspiration. He takes inspiration from every person he meets.

Aijaz feels elated to say that he has never experienced any kind of stress or depression in his life.

Aijaz’s life mantra is to be humble and respect others.
