Dr. Abhilash Modi is the founder of the TILS Education Academy in Bhilwara which he started in 2017.

Dr Abhilash has written two books. One of his books is ‘Just Speak’ which helps students learn effective English speaking, and the other is ‘Will Development’ which makes people aware of the importance of ‘Will over Skills’. Abhilash's expertise in the fields of education and language training has made him a sought-after speaker at various educational conferences and seminars. His dedication to empowering students with excellent spoken English skills has earned him recognition and appreciation from both students and parents alike.

Abhilash started his journey in 2009, when he used to teach students to speak English with fluency. He launched his own academy in 2017 in association with a relative. His motive was to offer English language training to students of all ages and backgrounds, with a focus on practical speaking skills that would benefit them in their personal and professional lives. Abhilash's academy quickly gained popularity due to his innovative teaching methods and personalised approach, attracting students from different parts of the country. He has since become a highly respected and sought-after English teacher.

Abhilash has earned master degrees in four different subjects, i.e. English Literature, History, Philosophy and Business Administration to understand the interdisciplinary nature of education and better cater to the diverse needs and interests of his students. Abhilash's diverse educational background allows him to bring a unique perspective to his teaching, encouraging his students to explore various subjects and develop a holistic approach to learning.

Remembering his young days, Abhilash says he was born in Jaipur and spent his early years in Jaipur itself. He still cherishes the memories of going on walks with his friends. There was no discrimination based on the financial status of the families, and they would often explore the city together, creating lasting bonds and a strong sense of community. The lessons he learned in his childhood still influence Abhilash's teaching approach today. He believes in fostering a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel valued and encouraged to learn from one another's diverse backgrounds. Abhilash understands the importance of creating a sense of belonging and connection within his students, just like he experienced during his own childhood in Jaipur.

"Every society gets the kind of criminal it deserves," a quote by  Val MacDermid, inspires Abhilash to behave ethically and instil moral values in his students. He believes that wherever he goes, he sets an example of integrity and honesty, teaching his students the importance of making ethical choices and being responsible members of society.

When asked about his role models, Abhilash says that he looks up to Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam as his ultimate inspiration. He admires Kalam's saying that, when a person gets responsibility and freedom, then only they can perform to their best extent. He also considers Sandeep Maheshwari his inspiration, who inspires him to have good thoughts and a positive mindset in order to achieve success in life. Abhilash believes that by following the teachings and philosophies of these role models, he can overcome any obstacles and make a positive impact on society.

Abhilash advises the youth to stay focused on improving their self-esteem more than their self-respect. He believes that self-esteem is the foundation for personal growth and success, as it allows individuals to believe in their abilities and strive for excellence. Abhilash emphasises the importance of self-esteem in overcoming challenges and making meaningful contributions to society. By prioritising self-esteem, he believes the youth can unlock their full potential and lead fulfilling lives.

To the young Indians, he encourages them to contribute to society by showing gratitude for the opportunities they have been given and by helping others in need. He believes that by giving back to their communities, young Indians can not only make a positive impact but also develop a sense of purpose and fulfilment.
