Despite suffering from her mother’s death at a young age and also losing a leg in a fatal accident, Dolly didn’t give in to adversity and has been facing them with grit.

Dolly Nirav Shroff is the owner of Shreeji Natural Flavors.

Dolly hails from Surat. She spent her childhood in Surat and also got married there itself. She says that she had a great childhood and received lots of love and attention from her parents being a single child.

Talking about her business, Dolly says that Shreeji Natural Flavors is a F&B startup that she started during COVID. She says that during COVID, she realised that food is a basic necessity for all and it is best served fresh. This inspired her to start a food business so that she can help people consume healthy and easily accessible food.

Talking about the difficult times of her life, Dolly says that she lost her mother at the age of twenty and it was heartbreaking for the whole family. She says that just after three years she had a train accident and lost her left leg. Despite this tragedy, she didn’t express her remorse and remained strong for the sake of her family.

During the COVID period, Dolly says that while her husband worked from home, her job wasn’t compatible with work from home so she lost her job. Then she realised that even if she finds another job, she might face issues and would be dependable. Thus, motivated by PM Modi’s slogan - “Vocal for Local”, Dolly started her own food business and has been running it from home.

Advising the young generation, Dolly says that you should never forget your roots. Giving her own example, she says that she has gotten most of the knowledge about food from her mother and mother-in-law and their techniques have helped her greatly in her business. She also advises them to work hard and become inspirational for others. She further adds that you should never stop learning.
