Divya has been giving wings to her passion for architecture by working as a landscape architect and a freelance consultant for the Udaipur Smart City project.

Divya Sharma is a Landscape Architect at Green Ribbon Landscape. She is also associated with the Udaipur Smart City Project as a Freelance Consultant.

Divya comes from Udaipur. She did her schooling from there itself. Then she pursued her Bachelor in Architecture at APIT, Gujarat. Thereafter, she moved to Delhi to live with her parents.

Divya worked for two years in Delhi at an architecture design company. She worked on  many projects there including the Commonwealth Games project and the Delhi Tourism project. Later, she got married and came to Udaipur. After a few months, she got selected for masters at CEPT, Ahmedabad and thus pursued her masters in Landscape Architecture from there. She finally moved to Udaipur in 2013 and has been working here since then.

Talking about her role models in life, Divya says that she has had several role models in different stages of her life. She says that her first role model was her grandfather who always motivated and encouraged her. She says that in her professional life, she has found many role models, from her teachers to her batchmates. She has been particularly inspired by Shreya - her teacher during her bachelor course, and also by one of her teachers during her masters - Prof. Prabhakar Bhagwat. She further adds that being a landscape architect she finds nature to be her biggest inspiration. Divya also shares that she watched a hollywood movie during her bachelors which inspired her to take up landscape architecture for her masters.

Advising budding architects, Divya says that you need to have a lot of passion for the field. She further advises them to be comfortable working with technology and also without it.

In her free time, Divya likes to expand her knowledge by reading and watching documentaries. Along with that, she keeps updating her knowledge in her field. She also likes listening to music, watching movies, and travelling.
