Divya Prajapat is a teacher at Vidya Bhawan Senior Secondary School, Udaipur.
Divya says that she hails from a lower-middle-class family and had to suffer a lot of hardships in her life. With the help of scholarships, she completed her engineering from Techno India NJR, Udaipur.
Divya says that after doing her internship in Bangalore, she was getting good job opportunities which she had to refuse to come back and support her family. She reached out to Vidya Bhawan Education Research Center and gave an interview there and was selected for the post of education researcher. However, balancing home and the job was getting tough for her and hence she took a transfer to Vidya Bhawan School in Ramgiri and started working as a teacher.
Talking about the COVID-19 pandemic, Divya says that she was working on a contractual basis in Vidya Bhawan and was laid off for two months. However, she was again asked to join and is thankful to Vidya Bhawan for reconsidering her.
Talking about her struggles and role models, Divya says that in every hurdle of her life, she was supported by her Nanaji who used to say that one should never accept defeat in life and keep working for achieving one’s dreams.
Divya wishes to join the technical research field once again and get a good government job one day.
In her free time, Divya likes writing poems, listening to music, and singing.
