A passionate school teacher, Disha Kataria draws inspiration from her father and tuition teacher, Krishna Madam. After taking a break for family responsibilities, she returned to teaching, finding fulfillment in shaping young minds.

Disha Kataria is a dedicated Teacher at Rockwoods High School, Udaipur where she imparts knowledge and fosters growth in her students.

Talking about her inspiration behind joining the teaching field, Disha Kataria shares that she was deeply influenced by Krishna Madam, her tuition teacher. She admired Krishna Madam's unique teaching methods and the way she interacted with others, which left a lasting impression on her. Even during her childhood, while playing games with her friends, Disha often took on the role of a teacher, reflecting her early passion for guiding and educating others.

Before joining Rockwoods High School, Disha Kataria worked for four years at a school in Dungarpur. After getting married, she took a break for eight years to focus on her family. However, her passion for teaching led her to return to the profession, and she rejoined the education field. Currently, Disha is working at Rockwoods High School, where she feels fulfilled and content with her role, as she finds great satisfaction in contributing to the school and its students.

Originally from Dungarpur, a small town in Rajasthan, she was raised in the vibrant culture of the region. After her marriage, Disha moved to Udaipur, where she has since settled, balancing her professional career with her personal life in this beautiful city.

Reflecting on her childhood, Disha fondly recalls being an honest and obedient child, as her mother often described her. She excelled in her studies and had a natural talent for dancing, singing, and speaking. Disha feels truly blessed that even today, her teachers reach out to her, a testament to the strong bonds she formed during her early years of learning.

When asked about role models, Disha Kataria shares that she looks up to her father, who taught her the importance of communication and how to interact with others. Additionally, she considers her tuition teacher, Krishna Madam, as another significant role model. Disha was deeply inspired by Krishna Madam's teaching style and the way she communicated, which left a lasting impact on her approach to both teaching and interacting with people.

Kataria advises the younger generation to always give their best in everything they do, whether it’s their studies, career, or personal growth. She emphasizes the importance of balancing ambition with responsibility, urging them to also prioritize and take care of their families, as family support plays a crucial role in achieving long-term success and happiness.

Reflecting on her experience during the pandemic, Disha Kataria shares that she adapted to the situation by conducting online classes when schools shifted to virtual learning. However, after some time, she unfortunately lost her job, and describes the pandemic as the most challenging period of her life, both personally and professionally.

In her free time, Disha enjoys dancing, which she considers not just a hobby but a true passion that brings her joy and relaxation.

If given the chance to travel back in time with a time machine, Disha says she would choose to be born in Delhi or Mumbai. She feels that these cities would have provided her with greater exposure and more opportunities for learning, which could have positively influenced her personal and professional growth.
