Disha Kataria is working as a teacher at Rockwoods High School.
Disha was born and brought up in Dungarpur, Rajasthan. She got married and then settled in Udaipur.
Sharing her childhood memories, Disha says that she was honest and obedient in her childhood, as her mother says. Also, she was very good at studies, dancing, singing and speaking. She feels blessed that still her teachers call her, shares Disha.
Disha shares that she used to go to tuitions where she was inspired by Krishna madam. She was impressed by her teaching methods and learned how to talk to others. When she was playing games with her childhood friends, she always used to play the role of a teacher, says Disha.
Prior to working at Rockwoods, Disha had worked in a school in Dungarpur for four years. She got married and after a gap of eight years, she again joined a job in a school. Currently, she is working in Rockwoods and feels satisfied here, says Disha.
When asked about role models in her life, Disha says that she considers her father as her role model from whom she learned how to talk with others. She also considers her tuition teacher, Krishna madam as her role model because she was completely inspired by her way of teaching and talking, says Disha.
Sharing her Covid experience, Disha says that she conducted online classes during the pandemic. She lost her job after some time. She says the pandemic was the most challenging time for her.
When free, Disha likes to dance and says it is her passion.
If a Time Machine is given to her, Disha would like to go back in time and change her birthplace. She desires that she would have been born in Delhi or Mumbai to get more exposure and more learning in her life.
To the youngsters, Disha advises them that they should do their best and take care of their families.
