Dipen started tattooing as a hobby And says he was always supported by his parents in following his passion.

Dipen Patel is a tattoo artist and owner at Naughty Devil Tattoo in Gandhinagar.

Dipen spent his childhood in Gujarat and studied engineering from Indore until the fourth semester, when he dropped out. He started doing multimedia animation and graphic designing. Afterwards, he started tattooing as a hobby and then decided to make it a profession. Initially, he started the work of designing tattoos as a freelancer.

Sharing his experiences about COVID, Dipen says that he enjoyed the period of lockdown by doing his work of tattooing and trying new designs. He spent quality time with his friends and family members.

In his spare time, Dipen likes to spend time with his friends and to travel. He also likes to do tracking, going on adventurous trips and outings with friends.

Dipen shares that he had had  a chance to do tattooing in Dubai and is now planning to move out of India to explore himself.

According to Dipen, experience is more important than education in his field. He did his own experiments with tattooing materials and gained knowledge through experience.

Advising aspirants to his field, Dipen says that proper guidance and practice are required to achieve success in the field of tattoo art. He says this field is growing day by day so the young generation may choose it as a profession. It is important to get training under a professional artist, and one should consider hygiene a priority to grow in this field.
