Dinesh Parihar has been in the profession of Acting since 1997. In 1998 he debuted as a lyricist in the film, “Vinashak.”
Dinesh was born and raised in Ujjain. He says he was a good player of Cricket. He played Senior Division Cricket when he was just twelve. He also played Cricket at the school nationals and university level. Besides, he was a standby Cricket player for Ranji Trophy and also played for the Rest of MP and the Rest of Rajasthan Cricket teams.
Dinesh shares that he would also write songs along with playing Cricket. And when he landed an opportunity to work for the Mumbai Film Industry, he moved to Mumbai. His first gig was to help one of the renowned music composers based in the city to complete the lyrics of a song. He worked really hard and after completing the task he came back to Ujjain to play in a Cricket match.
Dinesh says that during the Cricket match, he happened to fracture his hand as the ball hit it. And on the same day, ETC released the promo of the song of which he had helped write the lyrics. This event completely changed things for him. He left everything behind and moved to Mumbai and this was his first conscious step into the Film Industry of the city.
Dinesh shares that after moving to Mumbai, he had to face a lot of challenges. He struggled as a lyricist, assistant editor, etc. Later, he also started giving acting lessons to children. He conducted many acting workshops in Mumbai, Ujjain, and some cities of Rajasthan.
Talking about Covid, Dinesh says that the pandemic gave us an opportunity to take a break from life’s endless race. It gave us the time to reflect and introspect. He says that during the pandemic, he conducted online sessions for his students and tried to utilize his spare time to its fullest. He shares his learning from the pandemic. He says that time is the most precious thing in your life. You should be wary of how each moment is passing and meditating daily will help you do it.
Dinesh considers Osho as his biggest inspiration, influence, and role model.
Talking about Education and Experience, Dinesh says that our modern-day Education is just infusing information in us without filling the void therein. And one’s Experience is not about making them feel that they know everything rather it’s about making them learn more and more with time.
Dinesh thinks that a leader is someone who takes everyone along without dividing them into different sects, groups, etc. Besides, he is of the opinion that a leader should be elected based on their caliber and not their inheritance.
His Success Mantra is, right practice makes a man perfect. Dinesh says that it’s very important to put efforts in the right direction to be successful in life and for that having the right mentor is indispensable.
In his spare time, Dinesh likes to meditate, read literature and watch movies that teach him the nuances of Acting.
