After working in many industries, Dinesh launched his own automotive company and gave it all of his attention to help it soar to new heights.

Dinesh Kumar Chauhan is the owner of a pre-owned automobile business in Udaipur.

Dinesh has years of work experience in automobiles. He is currently dealing in a range of automobiles, starting from farming tractors to four-wheelers, three-wheelers, and two-wheelers. He has been very interested in automobiles for a long time. After completing his diploma in automobile management in Kota, he started his career with two-wheelers and then expanded to three-wheelers and four-wheelers.

After his graduation, Dinesh has worked in diversified fields. He worked at a hotel for a few years before working for an NGO and then finally opening his own automobile business in Udaipur.

Dinesh says that even during the COVID-19 lockdown period, four-wheeler sales were pretty good, and financially, the automobile sector was still booming. His faith in Maruti Suzuki and Mahindra is immense, as he believes they are leaders in the light motor vehicle and heavy vehicle industries, respectively, with groundbreaking innovations in these sectors as well.

Dinesh’s advice to budding automobile business entrepreneurs is to focus on management skills. Dedication, time management, honesty, and punctuality are the required skills in this sector. Working in the automobile business requires one to be very alert during transactions. He shares one incident where a scooter sold by them was used for illegal activities. So on a concluding note, he advises being honest and alert in this profession.

According to him, experience plays a very big role in running any business. Learning through experience can also be more effective than learning through books because one does not envision everything on his own but is given a chance to experience reality. But education gives us the knowledge and ethics to pursue our goals in life.

When asked about his role models, Dinesh says that role models have a very big impact on our lives. His Gurudev has inspired him a lot. Inspired by his work and determination, he says that "our own work and not anyone else’s must define our social standing". Our identity should be forged with our own hands.

Dinesh says that planning is very important to go about one’s daily life from morning to evening. Everything should be systematically planned ahead of time.

Dinesh likes studying automobiles in magazines and analyzing the market. He likes traveling, especially going on pilgrimages. Whenever he gets enough time off work, he always makes it a point to go on a pilgrimage to the goddess.

If given a time machine, Dinesh wants to go back to the time when he worked in a hotel. Life was smooth sailing, and he felt as if he was in his comfort zone when he worked there.
