Studying dedicatedly and working hard to reach your goals should be your ambition.
Dinesh Singh was born in Kulthana village in the Pratapgarh district of Rajasthan. He completed his primary education in Chhoti Sadri, Swaroopganj, and moved to Pratapgrarh for his graduation. Later, Dinesh moved to Udaipur and completed his post-graduation in Hindi from Mohanlal Sukhadia University. Henceforth, he got his first job posting in a government primary school in Kotri, Pratapgarh, as a primary teacher in Hindi. He was happy and confident to face a class full of kids and received a good response from them. The staff and management were also supportive of him and helped him work better.
Dinesh has been a dedicated student from a young age. When his father got transferred to Chhoti Sadri in Swaroopganj, he took his family too, for the better education of his kids. Dinesh’s father was working in the government Sahkari Samiti at the time and didn’t have much income. Hence, due to a lack of funds, Dinesh used to borrow books and study. All these experiences in the early days of his life made him a hard-working and dedicated student.
Furthermore, talking of his role models, he remembers one of his teachers, Mr. Govind Vyas, who has influenced and impacted his life. He adds on to say that his parents are his inspiration, as they have always stood for him in tough times.
During the pandemic, Dinesh felt sad for the condition of students, especially rural kids who don’t have the technology to attend online classes. Dinesh himself had to give door-to-door social services last year to help the poor and ill. He also provided door-to-door teaching services to the rural kids.
According to him, education and experience are both necessary. He says education solely empowers a person to teach, and with teaching, over the years, the experience comes. One of the quotes of Swami Vivekananda highly motivates him and is his living mantra, that is, “Arise, awake, and stop not till the goal is reached.”
During his childhood days, Dinesh was a naughty kid. He enjoyed swimming and used to take his friends swimming along in the well. Unfortunately, one day, he pushed one of his non-swimmer friends into the well and realized his mischief once he started to drown. This incident greatly impacted him, and he promised to never do any mischief again in life, especially something that could hurt others. He learned from his mistakes and moved forward in life.
Dinesh likes to play volleyball in his free time and has been playing it for the past 25–30 years. He is also a national-level shooting ball player and loves outdoor sports. He thinks that games and studies can provide a good balance, and children should never stop playing.
He believes that outdoor activities, socializing, and mingling with like-minded kids will help a kid gain perspective and have an all-rounded development. Lastly, he wishes well for all the students and advises them to study hard to achieve their goals.
