Dimple Sharma is the visionary Director of Redfox Preschool, Udaipur.
The idea of Redfox Preschools was first formed in 2018, with its roots first taking shape in Jaipur. Soon after, she established the very first Redfox Preschool in Ashirwad Nagar, Udaipur — a model school that set the foundation for the brand’s philosophy and growth.
Between 2018 and 2025, her dedication, vision and guidance have led to the successful establishment of over 20 Pre-Schools across Rajasthan, with each one carrying forward her mission of blending modern education with timeless cultural values.
Educator Dimple Sharma believes that the very first schooling of a child begins with a mother. According to her, no one understands the nurturing and care of a child better than a mother does. That’s why, when establishing any preschool, their first priority is to involve mothers in the process. She passionately encourages them: “If you are a mother, you have the potential to become an exceptional teacher, a compassionate educator, and a valuable part of a child’s learning journey.”
Redfox Preschools cater primarily to children aged 2 to 6, and Dimple sees this as the perfect opportunity for mothers to step into a meaningful role in early childhood education. She motivates them to take a small financial step toward independence by investing in something that not only brings them income but also allows them to balance family life and career effortlessly.
Unlike conventional jobs that demand long hours — often from morning till late evening — a preschool day runs from 8 AM to 2 PM. This unique schedule gives mothers the freedom to spend quality time with their own families, raise their children, and still nurture young minds professionally. It’s a setting filled with fun, love, and warmth — much like the care they naturally provide at home.
To Dimple, this isn’t just about starting a school — it’s about beginning a beautiful chapter in a woman’s life. It’s a chance for mothers to find purpose, confidence, and fulfillment in a role that mirrors their own nurturing spirit.
What sets Redfox Preschool apart from others is its distinctive approach. Dimple Sharma emphasizes that she is not just a franchise owner collecting royalties — she is a dedicated consultant who genuinely wants to help individuals establish successful pre-schools.
Unlike traditional franchise models, Redfox does not charge any royalty fees. The focus is entirely on enabling you to open your own school and start earning with confidence. Understanding that the biggest initial concern is admissions, Redfox provides a minimum guarantee of 25 student enrollments — the break-even point — to help new school partners cover basic operational expenses from the start.
Moreover, the Redfox model offers complete flexibility: you are free to open your school under your own name or choose a name that reflects your vision, even while aligning with the Redfox system. Apart from a one-time franchise fee, there are no hidden or recurring charges.
Every year, the team provides comprehensive teachers training and a full curriculum package, including annual activity calendars that detail holidays, events, and classroom engagements for all 365 days. At the start of each month, a detailed planner is shared to guide schools with ready-made activities, celebrations, and student engagement strategies.
In addition, the training is not limited to online sessions — Red Fox trainers personally visit your location to train teachers on-site. Another standout feature is the curriculum itself. All the books used in Red Fox schools are self-designed by Dimple Sharma, who began writing them in 2008. Over the years, as children's psychology and learning styles have evolved, so have the books — continuously adapted to meet modern educational needs.
This model is more than just a business; it’s a support system built with purpose and passion for quality early childhood education.
Redfox Preschool Director Dimple Sharma's professional career is a testament to versatility, passion, and purpose. Back in her 12th grade, she topped an All-India level Tally exam in Accountancy through the Tally Academy and received numerous job offers. She began her career at a young age as an accountant with BSNL, where she handled accounts across 27 states. Despite the scale of responsibility, she found the work monotonous and unfulfilling.
In 2003, she transitioned into a foreign bank where she was introduced to the Sales Division. It was here she discovered her true calling — sales. She worked across several banks in sales roles and truly thrived. Eventually, she took a step back to prioritize her family and took a five-year break from work.
Later, she entered the education sector as a teacher — an entirely new world for her. To her surprise, she instantly connected with children, and the positive energy she shared with them inspired her to pursue education as a long-term career. She strengthened her foundation in the field, began writing books for young children, and developed paid learning materials that combined academics with engaging activities.
Her career continued to evolve as she worked in sales for reputed groups like Aditya Birla and collaborated with various educational institutions and school networks. By 2018, she felt it was the right time to start something of her own — a venture with no limitations, where she could freely teach and nurture children on her own terms.
Although the COVID-19 pandemic temporarily paused her work, she reignited her vision in 2021. Today, her preschool has grown impressively, with 120 students enrolled across just four classes — a reflection of her commitment and the impact she continues to make in early childhood education.
Driven by a deep desire to offer children in India a nurturing platform that balances quality education with strong values, Dimple Sharma’s goal was never just about building a business. She envisioned a space where learning went hand-in-hand with spirituality, culture, and tradition — ensuring that children remained connected to their roots while stepping confidently into the future.
Reflecting on her early years, Preschool Director Dimple Sharma shares that she comes from a middle-class family where her father served as a medical officer. Raised in a somewhat conservative environment, she remembers that women were not always encouraged to dream big — but her curiosity was always far greater than the boundaries around her.
Whatever she pursued, she did with unwavering passion. A talented athlete in her youth, she even played hockey at the state level, though she had to give it up due to health concerns. Her schooling was completed at a government school in Jaipur, and from there, she charted her own path independently.
Driven and self-motivated, Dimple pursued higher education with dedication, earning degrees in B.Com, M.Com, and B.Ed. Along the way, she also appeared for several government exams. Not one to stop learning, she recently completed her Law degree as well — and proudly adds “Lawyer” to her ever-growing list of accomplishments.
When Dimple Sharma looks back on her early life, she recalls moments from her youth filled with questions and quiet rebellion. Growing up in a conservative household, she often found herself wondering why her path seemed so different — and sometimes more difficult — than that of her brothers. There were times when she felt misunderstood, even wronged. But life, as it often does, offered her clarity in hindsight.
Today, as a woman who has carved her own space with strength and conviction, Dimple sees those early struggles not as injustice, but as invisible scaffolding — the very foundation of her resilience. She now understands that her parents, especially her father, weren’t holding her back; they were preparing her to stand tall in a world that doesn’t always welcome strong women with open arms.
Her father, a man of discipline and deep values, never handed her comfort — instead, he gifted her courage. His words echo in her mind even now: “In this world, your only true teacher is the divine. Recognize that, and never rely blindly on anyone.” It was this philosophy that lit the fire of self-reliance within her.
To Dimple Sharma, he is not just a father — he is her fiercest mentor, her life’s compass. It was his belief in walking one’s own path, in carrying one’s own burden with pride, that shaped her. She didn’t just inherit her father’s teachings — she embodied them. And because of that, she didn’t just survive the world’s challenges; she learned to command her place within them.
One verse that continually inspires Dimple Sharma is the powerful Gayatri Mantra:
“ॐ भूर्भुवः स्व: , तत्सवितुर्वरेण्यं , भर्गो देवस्य धीमहि , धियो यो नः प्रचोदयात् ॥”
She firmly believes that the divine energy of the entire universe — every atom of the cosmos — resonates within this mantra. According to her, there exists no force more powerful, no invocation more transformative. “If one truly wishes to elevate their life through self-reflection and unwavering confidence,” she says, “then the Gayatri Mantra must become an integral part of their daily life.”
Speaking of her accomplishments, Sharma takes great pride in the fact that today, she independently manages and runs her own school — making every key decision herself. What once may have seemed like limitations have transformed into liberation. She is no longer judged but deeply respected. Her parents, once cautious, now look at her with pride, often referring to her as a godmother — a title she cherishes, especially because her school also welcomes children with autism.
Her deepest fulfillment comes not from accolades, but from love. “When some of those children are absent,” she shares, “I miss them dearly.” For Dimple Sharma, her greatest achievement isn’t just running a successful school — it’s the profound joy and empathy with which she nurtures every child, as if they were her own.
Early Childhood Education Specialist Dimple Sharma has a heartfelt message for all parents:
“When choosing a preschool for your child, don't be swayed by grand infrastructure or fancy setups. Instead, ask yourself — where will my child feel the safest, the most nurtured, and experience a truly meaningful journey?”
According to her, infrastructure alone cannot teach values or build character. A child’s first role model, after their mother, is their first teacher — and that relationship matters far more than flashy walls or polished floors.
She urges parents to look beyond appearances and prioritize the environment, emotional warmth, and cultural values of the school. "What truly shapes a child is the foundation of care, connection, and grounded upbringing," she says. "If we raise our children with these core principles, their mental and emotional strength will naturally follow."
Reflecting on her own upbringing, Sharma says she believes that the kind of parenting her generation received — rooted in discipline, freedom, and real-life exposure — needs to be passed on. “Today, we’ve become overly possessive as parents, shielding our children from every challenge. But that, in the long run, weakens them. Let’s give them wings, but also teach them how to fly.”
She believes that for anyone—male or female—looking to become an entrepreneur with a small investment yet expecting good returns, starting a preschool is an excellent choice.
When she launched her startup, she gradually expanded by opening several franchise schools across cities like Kota, Bhilwara, Banswara, Jaipur, and recently Udaipur, with plans to open more branches soon. Interestingly, many of these branches did not initially carry the Redfox name, yet her team took charge of organizing their functions and operations until the partners gained the confidence to manage their schools independently.
Financial returns were never her primary concern. Instead, her true reward lies in seeing her partners happy and thriving alongside her. For Dimple, this venture is more than just business — it’s a platform to spread joy, share ideas, and create meaningful impact, all while earning well.
