Experiencing a poverty-ridden childhood, difficult growing years, and the struggle of her family made Dimple Nagda strong enough to carve her own path and have a successful career in teaching.

Dimple Nagda is working as an English teacher at Alok Senior Secondary School, Udaipur.

Dimple was born in Zawar Mines and has seen a childhood ridden with poverty. When her family became a bit more stable, they shifted to the city.

Dimple started her schooling from Gyan Mandir School and then went to an English medium school and a government school. After her schooling, she did B.A. and M.A. from M.G. College, Udaipur.

Talking about the COVID pandemic, Dimple says that the online mode of teaching was troublesome for both students and teachers. It decreased the effectiveness of the teaching process is what she feels.

Talking about her role models, Dimple shares that Radha Soni, a teacher and administrator from her school, taught Dimple many things about the functioning and management of the school. Also, her mother is her inspiration as she never lamented the lack of resources and provided the family with the best.

Dimple says that we should always listen to our elders and never take their advice lightly. She also advises the youth to restrict the use of television and mobile in their life.
