After gaining experience in various career fields from Finance to the IT sector, Dhawal Pancholi has now finally found his passion which is the F&B industry and is now running a flamboyant cafe.

Dhawal Pancholi is the owner of Social Dairies Cafe and Restaurant in Udaipur.

Dhawal was born and raised in Udaipur, Rajasthan. He had ventured into various sectors before opening his own cafe. He had worked in the KPO/BPO industry, had done trading and marketing. Eventually he decided that he should open his own cafe.

The cafe is quite popular and is going very well but Dhawal did face challenges initially. The biggest challenge was hiring staff, and when he got to hire, the staff wasn’t regular. However now everything is stable.

The COVID period was a difficult one for Dhawal as the whole F&B industry took a heavy jolt. He says most of his staff is from Delhi and Uttrakhand so he also arranged proper accommodation and later transport for them. His stock also got ruined and he had to purchase new stock. Personally, he says initially it was fun but as time passed on, it started getting boring.

Talking about his future plans for the restaurant, he says that he is planning to open two more branches and will also start a rooftop cafe in the same building.

Although Dhawal does not get free time from his business, his friends come to his restaurant and help him out and make his day fun over there itself. He likes to go to various places in Udaipur with his friends. But his main focus is his business.

Initially Dhawal didn't understand leadership, but gradually, he learned it with experience. His supportive staff also makes it easier for Dhawal to lead them.

Dhalwa’s philosophy is never looking back and focusing on the present. His motivation is his business itself and he constantly keeps on learning to grow his business even further.
